I got my hair cut there today and I am so pleased with the result. The woman who cut it was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and chatty and made me feel very welcome. She did a better job than I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend this place.

Donna was just FANTASTIC with my daughter. My girl had very very long hair which hadn't been cut in maybe 8 years! She is also 16yo so was VERY nervous and apprehensive. Donna completely took this in her stride and communicated with her and gave her lots of options and even options to say no altogether. Excellent service, professionalism and attention to detail is given with a genuine caring attitude. Prices are reasonable and well worth the experience at Mane Tamers.
Thank you to Jason for the best haircut I have ever received! I was travelling through Napier and contacted Mane Tamers based on Google reviews. So glad I did! I have short hair and typically have textured pixie cuts. Most stylists give a reasonable cut but rely on product to produce the final style. Jason discussed what I wanted in depth and for the first time my hair was visibly in its style even before it was dried. I was even able to wait 11 weeks before my next cut, it kept the shape so well. I'm now devastated that I don't live in New Zealand as I'll never find another stylist as talented as Jason.
