Lunch with a friend as a first time visitor. Whitebait fritters at very reasonable price and beautifully presented. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
It exceeded my expectations in all areas, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food.
Village Green, what a lovely venue. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience, these clubroom sure were bustling, even without any football on! Dining here made me feel like I was part of a community larger than life. As I ate my chicken burger, I particularly enjoyed watching the dog walkers out on the field, such a wholesome atmosphere.
First time I've been to this cafe and my first impression was the waitress was really friendly. The second impression was the food was really delicious. I ordered Blue Cod (almost forgot to take a picture... again!) and it's a different from mainstream fish and chips. The fish is pan-fried and the potatoes are roasted. It's just perfect... I will definitely come back again! It's located close to a sport ground... a perfect place to watch the match or parents to wait while their children playing sport.
Great location, plenty of park. Reason only gave 3 stars service. Our friends tried to book for birthday party, they said no booking on Friday (a week or two ago), just turn up.. . So we all turned up (40-50of us) then she said you need to book and gave bad attitude. But we stay anyway, service at the bar is ok. We didn't interact anyone else after. Tables are dirty (before we sat down). Understandable they were quite busy. Overall the food was good.

Very rude and angry waitress. Probably won't go back because of her. The food was quite good, if a bit expensive.
Fantastic food and service. A very noisy place when busy. Some background music would be nice to break up the many people talking. Other than that a great venue. Nice inside.
Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Was lovely service and the food was amazing. The only problem was that the tables were are reserved, but empty. I had to ask permission to sit down. Was nice looking at the soccer teams on the field practicing.
