we ordered a meal for 5 people and it came out so fast (less than 10 mins) and the fish was sooo good. we took home some chips that werenβt finished and put it in the fridge and i took it out and ate some and it was still good. the worker was so nice, she had a smile on her face at all times and didnβt mind us paying with some coins. 100% recommend

Excellent Burgers. We're from TaupΕ and the burgers' hands down tastes better than anything here. Fresh salad in burgers. Very tasty, patty not oily, cooked perfectly. Loaded fries had a good ratio of chips and topping. Good value for money.
Also had a couple of packaged desserts, and they were decent too. Cutlery available.

We got some food from them last night and not only was the service amazing but the burgers were epic !! 100% going back highly recommend them !

Stopped by here after doing the Hobbiton tour and the walk to the top of Wairere falls, so I was starving when I got here, the people were super friendly and helpful and service was swift. I have been traveling for a month and a half here in NZ at this point and I think this is the best takeaway fish and chips I've had so far! The fish was huge and well cooked, and there was a good portion of chips. Ive gotten used to the fish being tiny at takeaway shops but the fish was bigger than my hand! Would definitely go back if I happen to be in matamata again

Fish was un edible, and $10 chips?? More like $4 worth overall bad experience, felt sorry for the two young ladies in their alone they looked very overwhelmed
