   We had an issue with our VW Crafter and the mechanic scanned the status from the onboard computer and then quickly discovered what the problem was: a hose behind the turbo popped off the motor. He fixed this promptly by reattaching the hose. He chatted with me while he was working and explained me what had happened and how he know where to search. Good guy! We did not have to wait, everything was done very quickly and an hour later we were good to go.

   I've been In twice to get my car scanned Both times they have came out and done it right then and there for me Both times I was able to watch the mechanic scan the car and he was more than happy to explain everything to me as he worked The first time I wasn't charged for my scan Other shops have charged 80 and handed me a paper with out explaining any thing The second time it took around a hour to find the problem he even changed coils around to help find the problem well explaining everything he was doing and why. For someone who hasn't booked in and just showed up this service was above and beyond And to top it off they had the car bak on the rd with in 24 hr of getting there and the price was pretty cheap in my opinion.compared to other shops I have worked with in the past I am clearly impressed and happy with the service. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will continue to use this shop in the future

   The lads in this workshop were awesome. We hit a bit of debris on the road coming into Tirau and knew we’d done some damage to the car. We pulled into the garage and with a degree of hope asked if they could help. 10 minutes later the car was up on the houst and they were giving it a thorough inspection and making interim repairs to enable us to get back on the road. Could t have been more helpful or pleasant to deal with. Massive thanks to the owner and his team. Highly recommend.

   We had a flat tyre (we’d already changed to the spare - just needed the flat patched up). The tyre had had a roofing screw puncture - about 5mm in diameter, including the thread. Tirau motors said they’d patch it for us, after about 15min of working on it and trying to patch it, said the hole was too big, and they couldn’t do it. Tirau motors then asked for money for the repair they couldn’t do. We later took the tyre to a different shop to get a second opinion. The mechanic at the second shop said that Tirau’s repair job was really bad - it skipped about half the steps needed for a good repair, and worse, almost made the hole bigger (and harder for the second mechanic to then fix). We’ve now got all tyres up and running. The repair from the second mechanic is good as new.

   Biggest rip off mechanic shop I ever visited i took my mitsi evo in for showing abs light in 2013 Charged me over 400$ for finding fault. Couldn't even find fault nevermind repair. This was long ago but if the same people own this business I won't recommend going here. Absolute thugs.
