   Whatever you do please DO NOT waste your money here. I paid $25 for a medium chicken nugget combo, and the chips were not even half full. I got my order via uber eats and called the store directly to explain how disappointed I was and the lady that spoke with me claimed they were short staffed. I used to work at McDonald’s myself and I KNOW the standards are not like this. I will never EVER order from this McDonald’s again. Save your money and order from Ferry Road, they have never had quality/portion issues like this. SO DISAPPOINTED $25 down the drain!!!

   Whoever makes the burgers in the afternoon/night never put onions & sometimes no pickles in the burgers. This has happened 4 times now via DoorDash I even added extra onions to my surprise there were still none. I know it may be busy but I still want what I paid for. Do better The customer service especially the drive thru is amazing can’t fault that.

   We had a wonderful experience during our visit, and a big part of that was thanks to Tarsh. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Her attention to detail really stood out and how thoughtful and kind she was with our children, nothing was missed, we believe this McDonalds is the best in Chch, because people like this make a big difference to your willingness to come back.

   I called up because a sauce had been not added in our order and my daughter having eating disorder won’t eat her food without I rang up and the amazing Nicole replaced our happy meal with the sauce. As driving back can be an incredibly inconvenient, very happy customer thank you. Great service

   Terrible customer service, make me wait 15 minutes for a coffee. I had to complain for them to finally make it and somehow arrived cold. Not even a sorry, Absolutely disappointing! When we went upstairs for the kids to play in the playground we found the area and the tables dirty. there is no way we're coming back.

   The last visit through the drive-thru here was great, because the service from the staff was polite, friendly and professional. It was so different from the usual bad attitudes and rude service . I was so amazed at the difference I said "I just wanted to say thank you, because this is the first time I have received polite, friendly service from staff here, usually the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. So thank you very much for providing good customer service" the only reason I stuck with 4 stars (not 5) is because they wouldn't have got 100% in the old "mystery shopper test". Having worked in McDonald's and many other customer service roles, and having gotten 100% all 4 times I was cashier when "mystery shopped", I know what is expected.

   Hope there was a zero star I can rate. I went to there , the Asian supervisor was fxking ridiculous. You should hire someone who at least know the customer service and good attitude. Hire someone who know the basic hospitality knowledge and attitude.

   Hi there. I went to mcdonalds linwood around 12.30am sunday night. As worked in fast food before i know how overwhelming it can be. I had 2 orders and within the orders it was pretty straight forward. The lady taking the order, was just unresponsive and nonchalant. I understand that because i know the struggle but it was to a point where i was like uhhh. I must say that all the staff were very nice :). i got the food, as pictured it was just thrown together. i asked for extra lettuce in my cheesy chicken and did not recieve (i added it in at home). it was also garlic mayo inside.....
