I came in here with severe asthma in the middle of the night. The doctors and nurses were exemplary, stayed with me pretty much 24/7 and conducted all the necessary tests to find out what was going on. I was then given medication and a script which helped me recover quickly and I was on my way back home in a taxi. I have been able to manage my diagnosed asthma ever since and am ever so grateful to the dr who's name was Dougal. If you ever get Dougal as your doctor you are very blessed and in perfect hands.

My girlfriend and I arrived at about 4:30ish on Christmas Day, while I was experiencing as far as I know, the worst bout of food poisoning in my life. I was incredibly fatigued and in pain etc etc, but from first arriving our whole experience was amazing. I believe my Triage Nurse was Amanda, and she kept a perfect balance between professionalism and humour. And my doctor was Ganesh. (Once again, if I remember correctly. I was pretty out of it) And he was very professional as well. He gave me all the right medicines to cut out my symptoms. We were there for just over 4ish hours before I went home, but all in all, a massive thank you to everybody that saw me. There were more than just you two, but I don’t remember anybody else’s names. On top of that, all of this on Christmas morning. You guys are legends.

Friday 28th Nov 2025. Arrived 1700pm. Still not seen at 22:05pm. Two of the Staffon triage are worth 5 stars. A young Healthcare Assistant and an older Triage nurse rostered for 1700pm. Absolutely brilliant. Thankyou to those two. We have 20 plus others who came in after us, already seen before my wife.My wife needed a stronger antibiotic. Had severe bladder cramps for a month. Why don’t they have a Doctor who can fast track the simpler issues, whilst the other Doctors deal with the more severe cases. All people’s time should be respected. People who have taken longer than 5 hours waiting should have a cheaper rate. Still waiting at 2300pm. The young Healthcare Assistant has been so helpful.

I went to the 24 Hour Surgery recently and was looked after by Nurse Rita. She was incredibly kind, informative, and caring. She took the time to explain everything clearly, gave great advice, and made sure I understood my aftercare for gastro. I really appreciate her help, thank you for making a stressful visit so much easier!

Went in for something stuck in throat, possible fish bone. No pain, eating/drinking fine but discomfort when swallowing Wait time was long but that's fine. Got an x-ray maybe an hour in not much was said other than 'if it's a fish bone it may not show up' , waited another while and got seen by a triage nurse who was nice she had a look, saw nothing. Insisted my throat was probably just scratched to which I reiterated that I could feel it with my finger. Nothing else was done, Sent back to wait again. 4 hours later seen by nurse to say there's 'nothing showing on the x-ray, nothing we can do sorry. See your GP.' blatantly said I was wrong. Once again she said it's probably just scratched, she didn't even ask to have another look down my throat or anything! If it's a scratch why could I feel it? With my finger? Useless. I put it down to being almost 2am and they just did not care about my issue at that stage. So they sent me home. Waste of $80! Waste of almost 5 hours of time. Went home and had a crack at getting it again myself. Took a bit but lo and behold! a fishbone! Stuck in my throat! Wow! DO BETTER. 2 stars simply for the niceness of the triage nurse

My wee girl came in with a suspected chest infection and went downhill quite quickly after we arrived. We were initially told it could be 2-4 hours wait as they were short of doctors. As soon as I raised the alarm we were seen, she got oxygen and off to hospital we went. I think all the staff there deserve recognition for doing a tough job with a demanding public!! Yes it’s hard to wait when you feel unwell and our public health system needs so many more doctors but patience and understanding of others goes a long way :)

I’ve been to after hours twice in the last few weeks and both times the doctors and nurses have been friendly and thorough. I have received so much care an attention. The staff here are Absolutely lovely. After hours have definitely changed over the years and the staff deserve all the recognition for this. Thank you for all you do, it is much appreciated.

Great experience here - from the minute I walked in the door the staff were kind and caring. The nurse and doctor who looked after me were superb - really thorough and reassuring. Can't say enough how much I appreciated the team at the 24 Hour Surgery :)

We had a very pleasant visit here this evening, from the nurse who greeted us at the door, to the reception ladies and the triage nurses who were very calm, professional and friendly. Dr Victoria Eastwood was amazing, very thorough and caring and we never felt rushed. We got given a colouring in pack and offered tea and coffee in the waiting room. We were seen quickly and it was such a nice experience my young one didn’t want to leave despite being quite poorly. After the media coverage this week about how busy and under pressure the healthcare system is. Thank you to everyone here providing the upmost care in obviously trying times, it’s most appreciated.

Thank you to all the staff for a lovely experience here tonight; was not expecting to spend 6+ hours on a Friday night at the 24 Hour Surgery but I received excellent care and everyone was very patient and professional. The nurse who triaged me was superb, gave me excellent advice and care before I waited for the doctor, who himself was just sensational at what he did. At no point did I feel rushed or like another number in a wait room. Dr Matthew Green was thorough and efficient, and had a great bedside manner. I am very happy with how this night turned out. And the ladies who took the payment at the end were a barrel of laughs too ;)
