As an expat whenever I'm back in Christchurch I make an effort to get here for the coffee, best Vanilla latte anywhere I've been in the world and great service, highly reccomended.

The coffee was super aromatic! Just one sip and I could tell it was one of the best in ChCh. It was amazingly smooth. The chicken salad sandwich was really fresh and tasty. I always end up scraping the roof of my mouth when I eat toasted baguettes, but this one was magically just the right amount of crispy. The vibe was clean, tidy, and warm. Plus, it’s right in the center, so definitely recommend!!!☕️
Came in this week on a cracker cold frosty morning - for the hit of coffee and a warm bite. LB was so so good, service was excellent and scone was cheesy and light. You’ve made us huge fans keep it up. Thanks t the ultimate team
Friendly service, but a few disappointments. The coffee was unfortunately bitter and came out half full. The sweet scone lacked flavor and tasted plain, though the cheese scone was enjoyable. Overall, a mixed experience.
Seems to have dropped of a bit since the last time. No Granola available and staff were busy keeping up. Coffee still great.

The coffee is as good as ever, which is to say the best. I've tried a number of places in town and this is the best. The food is great too although I usually just get a decaf flat white. Their decaf is delicious! Update 6 June 2023, still the best in town, hands down.
Great coffee and service everytime with the best decaf in Christchurch. The shop is well laid out with plenty of space to move between tables, everything is clearly labeled and if they haven't got it, they order it in happily for you. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Best coffee and roast vege scrolls in town. I don't know many cafe's that can get flavour into their cheese scones or not make their scrolls doughy - these guys have the magic !! Highly recommend this place with an added bonus of super lovely staff.
