Great boards and shaping supplies. Unfortunately reliability of opening hours displayed on website are not the best, a couple of wasted trips from North Canterbury for shaping supplies to find no one home!
I took Andy's 'learn to shape' course. He worked with me on a custom 'cheater' 9'3" design and gave the right amount of instruction for me to explore the art of shaping, but also made sure I came out with a solid product. I had a color and graphics design, and he also made that happen (see photos). Although Andy and his crew did the glassing, my board still feels more like 'my own', than if I had simply purchased it off the rack. Very happy with the way it rides, well worth the money.
Over the years I've purchased several boards from these guys, both off the shelf and customs. Always received a board that surfs phenomenal as well as looking like it could be hung on the wall. So after a few years of procrastinating I decided to sign up in their learn to shape course. Honestly I've learnt so much over two nights about why boards are shaped as they are and how subtle changes to rails, tails and thickness can totally transform the way the board will surf. I turned a huge piece of foam into a sleek sexy board with skillful guidance along the way. To say I'm stoked with the experience would be a massive understatement. I believe anyone who loves surfing should give this a go. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Plus you get an awesome board at the end of it. Win win
Disappointed in the finished product. Out of pocket and disappointed Store has disappeared after initial photos sent with issues any communication after this has become no end of frustration and disappointment Very rude, and argumentive Clear issues raised , sadhana has refused to take responsibility for the quality i received, any further communication to sadhana surfboards has gone unnoticed and left now in great discust. store has removed itself to communicate with me, regardless of there reply, smoke and mirrors is all I have got.
Had some good repairs. Then the last few years I've had an increased number of repair fails (and fails on top of fails). Atleast they acknowledged the poor workmanship and redid them. Front of house staff are friendly.

Really nice place, friendly staff. Went in there to repair my board, unfortunately he couldn't do it as fast as I wanted it but advised me really friendly. Couldn't explore the entire shop because I came in a bit to late. Defenetily recommended!
