Halloumi burger for $13.50 - bit pricey but very tasty.
This was a beautiful brunch dining experience. We watched the chef and his team pour real love and pride into our dishes. The salmon eggs bennie and avocado smash (with scrambled eggs @$2extra) were not only beautiful but delicious and rich. The avo smash in particular was very filling with 3 eggs scrambled. The flavours are well balanced with the bread toasted on the hotplate so it was crispy and steamed so tender and not too crunchy making an easy to eat treat (other chefs need to learn this trick). A highly recommended place to stop by, you won't be disappointed.
Hands down the best breakfast I have ever had! The staff working there are friendly and accomodating to any changes you need. The juices were also very lovely I can’t wait to come back one day soon.
We had breakfast at "Veggie guy Bobby" this past long weekend. A Small unassuming stall. Wow!! Best breakfast in Christchurch and value for money! I had the Market breakfast, massive with Hungarian sausages, free range streaky bacon, eggs, sourdough bread, mushrooms, fried potato and tomatoes. Seriously delicious. It was so generous I had to part with the potatoes and tomatoes onto my partners plate. He is vegetarian and opted for "Canterbury mushrooms" , beautiful creamy mushrooms, again with sourdough , perfect free-range eggs etc. Bobby take so much care with presentation and seasoning, heated plates, We sat at the bench and watched him cook. All top class oil's and garnishings. I feel he has to be called "Bobby the breakfast guy!" Cabinet food and veges which he sells all looked fantastic too. Go to this place for breakfast. You wont be disappointed!
Very awesome food! Do drop by to check out their fresh veggies and cooked food. We particularly enjoyed their ‘the market breakfast’ with awesome bacon and their vegetarian friendly ‘canterbury mushrooms’. Super duper tasty
Lovely shop with all sorts of fruits and veggies in the heart of Chch. Eggs Bene on a Sunday morning was everything! And top it with a seasonal fruit juice (I got watermelon) you will literally start glowing with content.
Probably the best Avo Smash I've ever had. Eggs perfectly poached, and all the ingredients were fresh and tasted amazing.
I think it must be a good vegetable store, but as a brunch store, very bad. I ordered the smash avicado in toast, but the avocado they served us was aged, it had flavor when the avocado is overripe, when the avocado is black. That flavor had my "breakfast". $ 35 in the trash. At the time of saying what had happened to my plate, the response of the people who attended the place, did not give any satisfactory answer, a waste of time and money. I do not recommend this place to eat.
