Amazing how patient and understanding the team is with retail customers wanting 2c worth of bits but take 20min to explain it! No matter who you are or how much your spending they treat everyone the same - and they is amazingly well.
Love this store. They never fail to supply the most random bolts I need.
Brilliant, and patient (which I needed as we talked thru options).
Had to find the right bolts for my telescope and wasn't sure what I needed. Thankfully, Graham was knowledgeable and pinpointed the exact items quickly. The entire staff was friendly, and the store's location was convenient. A big thank you to the team!

Worst customer service experience I have had for YEARS! I was in the store on the afternoon of Wednesday the 13th of July. The person at the counter looked uninterested in talking to me so I had to approach them, they were short and unhelpful with their answers and did not seem to want to help me find a creative solution to my project. The worst part was at the end when a couple of tradies came in and said to another customer service representative that they were "speaking to that guy earlier" whilst pointing at the gentleman serving me. The man serving me then proceeded to COMPLETELY ignore me and began talking across the room to them whilst still standing right in front of me. I was not told goodbye or wished a good day or any of the usual things you say to a customer at the end of the interaction. I had to say "thanks, bye" and still was not acknowledged at all so I just saw myself out. It left a really sour taste in my mouth and I will not ever be returning to the Sydenham store.
Went into the Gasson Street branch, around 2.30PM , 1 person was being served, 2 were waiting in front of me then 3 came in behind me. There seemed to be only 1 person serving, we waited for a few minutes. The least they could have done was acknowledge us all, I dont mind waiting in any shop given that we are in "covid" times, but there no acknowledgement, nothing. Poor service, so we went to Sockburn branch, all good there.
