   Lovely hosts and gorgeous dogs, I loved the garden room we stayed in. Felt so welcoming and comfortable, the bathrooms were so nice as well with complimentary soaps. We are definitely coming back to try the hot tub.

   We have recently returned from Lilac Rose after having a comfortable stay. We were warmly welcomed by Pam and Denis who both cooked a lovely breakfast the following morning. They were both friendly and helpful. A good way to start our New Zealand trip. The hot tub in the garden was a nice touch also. The only thing for us was it was maybe a little too far out of Christchurch, although saying this it did mean it was very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely return. Thank you both.    Husband and I had the garden view room. Superb. Bed made up each day for us, hot hearty breakfast - and an outside spa to enjoy. Hosts were warm & friendly. Great spot. Not noisy.

   Absolutely delightful home . Our first experience in a b& b. So was a bit daunting at first but Dennis and Pam went out of their way to make us very comfortable. There was 3 couples sharing the house and we all had a wonderful experience. They have to very well behaved dogs that were adorable to. Can highly recommend.

   An absolutely beautiful old villa. Amazing rooms, great hot tub and absolutely lovely, welcoming and caring hosts. They handled it well when we showed up early without notice. If we are going to stay in Christchurch again, we will definetly try to stay there again. Definetly worth a stay!

   Such a charming place to stay! The owners were so considerate and thoughtful and went to great effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We were upgraded to the Garden Room at no extra charge as there was no other guests that night which was so lovely. It made our stay that extra bit special and we really appreciated this kind gesture. We had an incredible view of the garden from our room and the spa was amazing to unwind in after a very long day of travel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Christchurch. Thankyou Pam and Dennis, we hope to see you again one day!
