This is a good place to take the kids. You pay per kg at the end, no cost to enter. They also sell fresh raspberry ice creams.
Pyo raspberries which can be done as a group as long as you pick 2kg worth-$42. But they give it to you in a big bag and the fragile raspberries are crushed at the bottom. Suggest bringing multiple storage containers to prevent this.
Took kids to this place today. They loved it! One of those experiences you have to try with kids during summer. The price is affordable ( 23 nzd / kg) also dont forget to try their real fruit ice cream as well.
Yum raspberries, $22 a kilo atm. However minimum 2kg of raspberries for PYO. Fortunately I went with someone else but I can imagine that is not feasible for some people
Very disappointed! I went to the shop in the afternoon around 2pm and asked for POC but it was no longer available. Then I asked to buy some raspberries but the service was terrible. Felt like the worker didn't want to be there nor didn't want to serve, had no smile and went away feeling very upset by the poor quality of customer service that I received. I bought a box of raspberry 800g for 35 dollars which was quite pricey.

Fun experience, really easy to get the min pick amount with the 3 of us. Stayed and had ice cream after, nice modern picnic tables with umbrella to sit under. Large car parking area and could easily walk the pram up to where the raspberries were.
Okay place to go for PYO raspberry, around aren’t maintained well; paths are covered with weed and raspberry branches hanging around the walk path. Generally okay place to go.
Very disappointing, arrived at 4pm, with unclear timings. We went and picked fruit, aiming to meet our daughter who finished work 3 mins away at 4.30. At 4.34 she arrived and we went to pay for our picked fruit and get ice creams, having previously been told the shop was closing at 5pm. (Were told this was on Facebook site, couldn't find it). Were told that we couldn't have Ice cream as it took a long time to clean the machine and the staff wouldn't be finished for 5pm. Maybe they are only paid until 5pm? 5 other groups arrived after this hoping for ice cream and were disappointed. Closing needs to be correctly displayed , can't blame the staff if they're not paid after 5pm. Sorry, won't be returning.
