Our boy Dee Dee LOVES visiting Playful Paws! He always comes home exhausted from having so much fun. They often share photos and videos of the dogs throughout the day on their Facebook page - it's so nice to see the updates and it reassures us that our boy is happy, safe and well cared for!
Moki Bear is always excited to be dropped off at Playful Paws. He has featured a few times on the FB page, great to see him happy & engaged. We will get the occasional update from them on his longer stays. This really puts our mind to rest. Dealing with Playful Paws is just so easy. Their communication is wonderful.
I cannot recommend Playful Paws enough! My dog loves going there and I know that she is well looked after. Its wonderful to have a safe place for my dog when we go away and also for daycare. In fact, we have just got two cats and they will go to the cattery when we go away. I find the communication is excellent and they are always happy to help. I'm very grateful to Linda & Sophie from Playful Paws. Thank you so much!
After reading great reviews however mostly about dogs, I placed my two young cats into the care of this cattery. Immediately upon sighting their accommodation I had doubts. I felt their room was very cold and uninviting and upon check in could see no water. Upon picking up my babies I came away very upset. They both looked very terrified and unhappy. I did note at pick up there was a bowl of water. I am sorry but I would never leave my cats here again. I really got the impression these people are not into cats, but very much into dogs.
Lola just loves doggy daycare and waits at the car as soon as I tell her where she's going. She has been very happy to spend a few nights there too. Great care taken, highly recommended.
Ted (large Groodle) always has a great time at Playful Paws Pet Lodge. He has stayed in the kennels a few times and lately he spend over 10 days there. He is normally a bit timid but he seems to love everyone at the lodge and when we collect him after his stays he seems a changed dog; he is much more friendly and happy around people back home. He really enjoys the other dogs at the lodge and gets lots of play time. I thoroughly recommend the lodge as an excellent kennel stay.
We were looking for a kennel that was close to the start of our road trip and this place was in the perfect location. We had clear communication from the start and felt our dog would be left in good hands. We loved the personal text mid stay and the photos on Facebook was a lovely check in. We felt there was a welcoming, warm vibe and the dogs were really cared for. We particularly loved the space available for the dogs to run and play in. When we picked our dog up he was comfortable, happy and tired from a week of play! Thanks Playful Paws we will definitely use you again and appreciate you working over the Christmas break :)
