   I had a fantastic experience on this trip. Adventure South NZ ran everything smoothly from start to finish. The routes were stunning and varied, from the rivers around Queenstown to the engineering of the Lake Dunstan Trail and the dramatic Roxburgh Gorge. The guides were excellent. They were organised, reassuring and genuinely enthusiastic about the region. Their knowledge and calm approach made the whole week feel effortless. I loved the mix of riding and the small touches along the way, like time in Arrowtown and Cromwell and the winery visit in Clyde. I would travel with Adventure South NZ again without hesitation!

   If you are looking for long bus rides through New Zealand with periodic stops for biking this is the tour for you. If you want an ‘Alps to Ocean’ end-to-end ride, I suggest looking elsewhere. Today for example, After biking less than 10K our two ride leaders received a phone call instructing them to cancel the rest of the ride for the day because of weather. I was dumbfounded, the same thing had happened on the tour two days earlier. When they canceled today, the weather was literally better than in Southern California, where I had flown in from. 16C with a breeze and no rain. I took this picture from where I was when the ride was canceled and we all boarded the bus for a long ride to our hotel for the rest of the day.

   I recently completed the Triple Trails tour with Adventure South. I had a brilliant time!!! Guides Jude and Harry were superb. The accommodation and food on the trip were first-class. I thoroughly enjoyed the varied landscapes that were on the trip.

   We had a great time on our ride around the mountains. Our guide Heather was fantastic. She could not have done more. The accommodation was good and all our meals were great. The communication from Kathy at Adventure South was excellent. We were kept up to date with all information and required gear etc. very professional company. Thank you for helping us to organise a great holiday.

   Wow! What a ride!! This was my first trail ride in NZ and I absolutely loved it!! I would not have made it without our amazing tour guide Lewis who was so thorough in describing how to get through each section. He patiently waited for me to arrive ( often the last one) and would update us on where to go next! The food and accommodation was beyond expectations!! All in all a fabulous trip !!

   What a wonderful trip we had. Adventure South were an amazing group to travel with, our leaders were so helpful, fun and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend them. Nothing was too much trouble, the food wines and accommodations were all spot on. And the ride was, well, breathtaking. Thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you. We will be back.

   Our group of four biked the South Lakes trip for 7 days and had a great time. The trip was well organized, the scenery diverse and often breathtaking, the bike routes well-chosen (mostly low to no traffic) and our guide Rich Mortiboys was excellent. Rich was a wealth of knowledge about the areas we rode through (history, geology, biology and more) and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly for all of us. We had a small group of six riders and it was a great group. Overall the trip was a good value and I would recommend if for anyone looking for an experience to get away from it all and bike through lots of gorgeous wide open spaces.

   Jono and Martin were exceptional tour guides for the Alps to Ocean trip. My mom, dad, sister, and I had a fantastic experience while taking in the breathtaking New Zealand views alongside kind-hearted group members. I really enjoyed getting to converse with members of the group and our trip leaders through shared meals, and the glamping accommodation was definitely a highlight. We’ll be back for another trip (hopefully very soon)! Thank you for making our vacation so fun and memorable!

   We LOVED our trip on the Lake Dunstan Trail and Otago Rail Trail with Adventure South. I'd never ridden on a group trip before but loved all the benefits it brought - All logistics were taken care of but we never felt rushed, it was fun riding with a small diverse group, and the support vehicle meant we got to experience so much more beyond the trail. They arranged fantastic food options and a lovely range of accommodation from quirky rural B&Bs to motels. The guides were wonderful and read the group well - they were organised and knowledgeable but let us ride along at our own pace too. . They made the whole week very easy for us and loads of fun!

   My recent Alps to Ocean adventure was so much more than I had expected. The communication beforehand made everything clear, the guides went above and beyond my expectations, the accommodation was fantastic and all the little things (daily briefings, morning teas, helpful assistance for those unfamiliar with an e-bike etc) made the ride so much more enjoyable. I would encourage anyone thinking about riding the Alps to Ocean, or tackling any of the other adventures that Adventure South offer, to make contact with them and to embrace the opportunity.
