   The staff here went above and beyond to help me finish opening my account. I had gotten an email about getting an identity verification appointment a month from now. I will no longer be in Christchurch at that time so stopped by to reschedule the appointment. Instead the staff let me go ahead and do the identity check right then and special thanks to Kishor for helping me. Not only did he get my account opened, but he walked me through how to use the app, got me set up with their telephone support, and set up my debit card right then. Thank you!

   Outstanding Service from ANZ Bank – Highly Recommended! We highly recommend ANZ Bank for anyone seeking a home loan. We are currently building our house in Halswell and started our loan process with ANZ, initially working with Jack Phillip. Jack provided excellent service, but after some time, he transitioned to a different role. Our loan was then taken over by Cameron Nguyen, Senior Loan Coach, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Cameron has been an absolute asset throughout the entire process. His professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to making the process as stress-free as possible have been exceptional. He took the time to address every query, no matter how small, and provided clear and timely updates every step of the way. Based on our experience, we can confidently say that ANZ Bank has a fantastic team that truly puts the customer first.    I rarely leave bad reviews, but my recent visits to ANZ have been consistently frustrating. The service is incredibly slow. Staff seem disinterested and disengaged, offering minimal assistance and often appearing more focused on chatting with each other than helping clients. Simple tasks take far longer than they should, and there’s little sense of urgency or customer care. It feels like the bare minimum is being done — no warmth, no effort to make the experience smooth. Honestly expected better from a major bank. Definitely reconsidering my options.

   Went to the Riccarton branch to make a deposit . The bank was open but no tellers operating - I was told they don’t accept cash deposits on Saturday… It’s a bank and they won’t take my money to put in my account - the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. A billion dollar profit and they can’t afford to have one teller operating - really unimpressed

   My bank card got hacked, the phone service was very sure that they could help me get my money back, but the counter staff said that they could not guarantee that I could get my own money back. Also the phone service said it only take 7-10 business days, but the branch staff said it gonna take 15 business days which is 3 weeks. Anz could not guarantee the safety of my money, very disappointed and extremely poor experience.

   Poor customer service, always a issue with changing money because the local company I work for does not bank with anz and for some reason or 'policy' that is a issue, when I rang customer service they had not real explanation as to why but just said ' sorry we can't do that' with no real explanation as to why, currency is currency isn't. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL....ANZ I THINK NOT

   I think its a biggest branch of the ANZ bank in Christchurch. They are very welcoming. They always listen your problem carefully and try to solve it in real time if it's possible. I like ANZ bank for their good services.
