We live in Halswell, this is our local go to. Yummy pastries and very reasonable price! We also had our wedding cake custom made by them, it was soooo tasty! Thank you so much again:)
Close to work so Came here for late lunch and bought a pepper steak pie and jam bun. Their pies are second to none so I wasn't surprised that it tasted so delicious as always. Peppery and full of meat with tasty gravy. And the jam bun was soft and easy to eat; I liked the icing the best, very generous on top. The staff are friendly as always too. Six stars
Saturday morning pop in, a buzz of people coming in and getting pies coffee and bread and othe eatable items. Great selection of food from pies and savouries to sweet delights. A great stocked cabinet and minimal delay on a takeaway coffee. Store is clean and tidy with some bar seating inside a some further tables outside. Staff are friendly and service orientated. Great Saturday morning pie and coffee shop that is fair for price and service. Will be back. 4/5 rating
Excellent pies, great recommendation. Great variety of pies and still had mince and cheese at midday. $31 for three pies, and three Chelsea buns.
Nice local bakery with excellent very friendly service. As vegan I wish there were some options of veg , diary free , egg free pies and bakes. I know it’s not common , but will be great to have something to chose. Tried apple pie and it was ok , just too sweet for my tooth. Good coffee and tea options !
Always a favorite stop. Nice pies and handy to get to. Easy parking and open on Sundays.
Lovely bakery, nice n clean, friendly staff and the best cream donuts in Christchurch that we eaten. Would recommend a weekly visit, that is what we will be doing.
My co-worker and I got pies from here and both of them(different kinds) had hardly any meat at all. We were both left dissapointed. Good saussage rolls
Such delicious food! We had butter chicken pies which were really bloody good! From the sweet treats we had a creamed donut and a chocolate danish and both were absolutely beautiful! Will definitely be back and will also happily recommend to others!
