   Stayed in the dorm, bed was comfy, I was super warm at night with extra blankets available in the room if needed. The entire place was super clean Very simple place and set up. Check in instructions where very clear and easy to understand Kitchen was clean and tidy and had everything you needed Only thing is the dorm room doesn’t have a key to the room so I kept my valuables on my person / in my car overnight. The building itself was locked and secure though which was great Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends visiting Arthur’s pass

   Cozy hostel in the heart of Arthur's Pass Village. The owner Tash is fantastic and very responsive over phone (if you don't see her in-person) if you need anything (I had an check-in issue from booking third party). Large size community kitchen with everything you need. Dorm and lounge areas were very spacious and had all the basic necessities.

   Although this was a nice location and the kitchen had all needed appliances, my friend and I did not feel safe in this hostel. I understand that no one is there to check you in but the main door did not lock and was propped open at all times. Anyone could have wandered in off the street at any time and there were no safety precautions whatsoever to make sure all of the people in the hostel were allowed to be there. Also, with what little contact we did have with the owner over text, we could tell she was openly rude and didn’t want to be bothered with any questions or concerns.

   Location wise- it was great since it was at the center of some of the walks we wanted to do. The room we were in was pretty comfortable and clean but was close to the shared bathrooms and we were able to hear most people come in and out. The room was also pretty hot in the evening due to heated flooring? we reached out to staff but never got a reply, it just solved itself in the morning but that was a bit too late. Kitchen and facilities were pretty clean which was nice.

   Value for money, practical, clean, independent stay, convenient location with ample parking, heater was 5 stars as well. Coffee, tea, sugar & milk provided. Pots, pans & utensils are sufficiently provided. Prep $2 each change for laundry & dryer. Towels, soap & shampoo provided on shower. Ample space to hang out in family room. Wifi was provided, not too bad.

   Well maintained and superbly located. Great place to stay while enjoying walking around the mountains. The room's were clean and bed's comfortable. The shared kitchen was well kitted out with cookers, microwave and some cooking utensils. There's also a dinning area. There's plenty of toilet's and shower's, well maintained. Also available is a laundry room.

   Perfect location for a couple days of exploring Arthur’s Pass. The hostel has a nice feel, older cabin in the lounge, very modern in the kitchen, decent Wi-Fi, and outlets all over. Sadly the town seems to have taken a big hit from covid and so things like the reception at the hostel are still closed, along with most everything in town besides the small market next door, which is on limited hours / service. Hopefully that bounces back to combine the great vibe with a few more options.

   Excellent facilities. Very modern kitchen with everything you need. Very clean, well appointed, warm and comfortable. Central location,...right beside the Arthur's Pass tearooms and close to the start of most local walks and climbs . Love the spiral staircase. Will be back with friends very soon
