We’ve had our kiddo coming to the Rabbit Patch since January this year, and the team here are truly fantastic, our kiddo looks forward to going to kindy any chance she gets and she’s been learning incredibly fast. The play areas are great and we’ve had lots of art come home, the daily updates are also fantastic. It’s nerve wracking as a new mum to find the right place, and I think we got so lucky, we’re so grateful for the whole team.

Rabbit Patch has been an excellent preschool for my son. The teachers have taken great care to get to know him and have helped our introverted and shy child become a confident, happy and engaged learner. The environment is warm and exciting and my son feels safe and excited to try new things. The outdoor area especially is excellent, with gardens and play equipment that helps him to push his boundaries. The staff are kind, caring and very passionate about early childhood. They are always available to talk to me and really care about my child's development and wellbeing. It is nice to hear my son ask to see his teachers in the weekend. I couldn't feel more comfortable dropping him off in the morning!

I thought I wasn't going to say anything but after I got an email back after we decided to pull our enrollment and complaint, it was so bad I had to say something. I asked for some flexibility in terms of settling in period. They offer 2 weeks. Week 1 2 days both mum and baby there for an hour. Week 2 2 days 1.5 hour just baby there. Maybe able to do short days and then extend it but just baby on its own once officially starts. We asked if we can just make the transition a bit slower with mum there a bit longer on week 2 and if it dont go well then official start we can do a few hours for just baby then slowly increase the hours but will still pay in full. It was an outright no! And saying that the other branch has only 2 days not 4. I clearly stated in an email outlining everything and happy to meet them half way. She (manager) wanted to talk over the phone it is easier. Little did I know it was because there's nothing in writing about what she said over the phone. The email we got back was straight lies that they were willing to accommodate to what we requested and that we misunderstood her. I clearly remembered the last thing I asked at the end of that phone call was "so there's no flexibility at all in terms of the settling in period? She said no." I remembered because I got pretty upset as I have explained the reasons of why we requested this longer settling/transition period. No empathy is ok with me but feeling dismissed wasn't ok. Lastly, she also said you can stay if you want but just keep in mind we have 14 other kids and wont have time as we are very busy. However, the week before you can accommodate both baby and mum for an hour but Week 2 you can't have the mum there for just 30mins before leaving baby? Making it feels like we are an inconvenience for them. So that's what we've just experienced. Rude, no empathy, dismissive, making parents feels like they are an inconvenience and lies. And lastly the complaint process to go to the same person that you're trying to make a complaint about? What's the point?

My son loves attending Greers Road Rabbit Patch. The staff are friendly and caring, and he always enjoys the activities. It's a great environment where he feels comfortable and has lots of fun each day.

Disappointing experience. Despite attending for 6mths (1/wk, they'd argue needed more), my child never felt comfortable and dreaded going. I could never leave them in for the 7hr minimum day knowing how they detested this place compared to their kindy. There were no real invitations to play, limited play resources and indoor play space, and little effort to build relationships. Low child:teacher ratios were claimed but teachers often occupied with cleaning or writing daily reflections - reports of surface-level interactions, sent out to every parent, covering every room daily. These gave no meaningful insight into the kids' learning and development, rather maintained appearances for the Reggio look/feel. Profit-driven decisions were evident - teachers lacked non-contact time for proper documentation, children were lectured over broken toys rather than provided quality resources, and basic necessities were often overlooked. They regularly ran out of soap in the bathroom, and I was told to use another child's wipes to clean up my child one pick-up after discovering they were sodden. Despite a great art room, my kid never got to bring any art home aside from the crayon sketches on A5 sized scraps of paper - not a great size for 3yr olds learning to draw. Overall, this center prioritized convenience and cost-cutting over genuine early childhood development. Some good points - my child seemed to eat the food and outdoor area was great.

My daughter was with Rabbit Patch for 4 years. She has now gone on to school. Her preparedness and transition to school has been absolutely seamless, which I put down to the expert care and attention she received at Rabbit Patch. I can not thank the staff enough for the positive impact they have had on my daughters life. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
