Always overpriced, has been for years. Wouldnt be surprised if the things they donβt sell go to the tip. One of the worst salvos in Christchurch imo. Update: come in almost a year since this review, needed one single pillow case for my a girls bed. They had a basket of non matching pillowcases 2 fo $3, the lady refused to sell me the one pillow case and said ild have to buy two even tho I said it would go straight in the bin because I donβt need it. She then insisted I pay $3. I walked 30 metres to the private op shop and found one for 50c but he just gave it to me even after offering a dollar. STILL THE WORAT SALVATION ARMY IN CHRISTCHURCH

I mostly always walk out with something. Yes their clothing can be expensive. I think maybe they google lens to get their pricing? But they can have good prices on furniture of youre lucky. And they have a good turn over of stock too

Sooooo over priced .. I go to toffs .. childrens clothes should not be 6 to 15 dollars .. oh my god an the toys 10 dollars .. crazy . And logical things like plates pots.. yeah I totally want to pay 15 dollars for a pot.. who the heck is pricing it?... And no you can't go into the typical.. we are a charity helping people .. tht goes both ways .. and the government will save you .. the people tht have worked there seem really lovely .. and good there are free books outside . But keep the stuff moving .. like flow like life .. a bit trepadaesious to say .. hopefully will envoke change

Lots of things, but really expensive. A worn out felt box $6, theyβre $8.50 new at Kmart. $20 each for a made in China dinosaur toysβ¦because theyβre βoldβ. These are not collectables, theyβre well used kids toys donated for another kid to enjoy

One of the best op shops ever. Can't help checking in to see what's new, if you see something you like - buy it there and then cos it probably won't be there if you hesitate and go back later. Lovely displays & I've always found the staff to be pleasant & accommodating in all the years I've been going there.

Very overpriced. Sad as this shop used to be somewhere that people on low incomes could afford to shop at.

Used to be good. Crazy expensive prices on tools, sports gear etc now. Whoever is now doing the pricing is way out of touch and is overpricing these items beyond anything they would sell for even new in some cases. The shop is looking weird and is stuffed full of the same items you see every time because nothing is moving anymore due to the inflated prices. The ladies who work and volunteer are lovely
