This comment is to do with the Colourwood interior stain. After two coats, you cannot see the grain. It looks just like paint. Even worse, I bought two separate tins of the same stain, but the colour turned out to be significantly different. In the end, I sanded it all off and used someone else's product. I certainly won't use Colourwood again.
I had excellent service from Payton who helped me with buying primer and ceiling paint for my home. She was super knowledgeable and talked me through the pros & cons of different options to suit my budget. The paint she sold me is perfect for the job and looks great on the ceiling! I'll be back to buy more for the rest of the rooms in my whare.

We have always used Resene paint because of its quality so needing some for my fence refreshing project it was the obvious place to go. I chose the colour and took the chart to the counter. Talking with the young lady she agreed that my choice would give the effect I wanted to went off (without the chart) to mix it up. Unfortunately when did the job the colour was many shades lighter than I expected. Back to to the shop to explain and was veery surprised to be yield "it wasn't their fault" but they could darken it up a little. Another coat of paint made a minor change but still not what I wanted. On my 3rd visit I suggested they should make it policy to confirm with the customer the chosen colour before mixing, only t as to how it was my fault - that was never explained. After a lengthy reply to this citing difference in colour due to sunlight etc, I explained via the email address provided that the colour mixed for me had a different name to the colour that I wanted, on the card. I havre not heard back. So while I like the quality of Resene paint, I will be doing a double check if there is another time! Let the buyer beware!

Store hours show open from 830 am on Saturday. I got there at 830 and was pointed to come round to the trades entrance. When I got there was told due to staff shortage I wasn't allowed in the store and if I tell the sales person what I'm looking for she will go get it. Why would one person not be allowed in to try choose a colour? I don't know what color I'm after hence me wanting to have a look at options. What a waste of time.
