   I’m writing this to share our experience with Maple & Co, in the hope that it helps others make an informed decision before booking. My daughter recently received a toner service at Maple & Co that was carried out poorly and left her hair noticeably uneven, with only the front section toned and the rest unchanged. We later sought an independent opinion from a senior stylist at Rodney Wayne, who confirmed the work had not been done to an acceptable professional standard. What was equally disappointing was the service experience itself. My daughter was left to brush her own hair for close to 30 minutes while the stylist was on the phone, with no communication or support. This was unsettling and far from what you would expect in a professional salon environment. Despite approaching Maple & Co directly and in good faith, the salon gave an explanation that was not consistent with the result essentially not acknowledging the quality issues or offer a refund. Their only solution was to insist we return for a redo - something we declined after the initial experience. A refund would have been the reasonable and accountable course of action, but it was not something they were willing to consider. In situations like this, accountability matters. How a business responds when something goes wrong says more about its values than when things go well. Unfortunately, our experience with Maple & Co showed a lack of responsibility, care, and customer service, which is deeply disappointing. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to be cautious when considering Maple & Co for colour services. There are many salons that take pride not only in their work, but also in doing right by their customers when issues arise -something we did not experience here.

   I had booked a hair appointment for the same day before 12pm , but unfortunately, it was cancelled just 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time of 3.45pm. A deposit had been paid, and when I inquired about a refund, Lisa advised that she was unsure of the process or timeline. The cancellation was due to the hairstylist going home sick, which I understand can happen. However, the clarity around the refund process was disappointing. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to book with them again in the future.

   Was really nervous to get my hair cut here as I usually just cut my own hair. But Lisa was very lovely and she did a great job with my hair :) booked it the day before and it was really easy! Place is also very aesthetic so bonus point for that

   I seriously cannot thank & recommend Maple & Co enough! Both Hannah & Ollie were so lovely and made me feel so welcome and completely transformed my hair! The style and vibe of this gorgeous salon is so amazing too. Will 110% be back and will be telling everyone I know about it!
