   The haircut I received was extremely unsatisfactory. The stylist cut my hair significantly shorter than what I requested, and the final result was completely different from what was discussed. It caused me emotional distress and a loss of confidence. Although I paid at the time, I did not feel comfortable refusing payment on the spot. My hairstyle is closely tied to my confidence when going out. I had visited three different salons earlier and finally came to this one because it was recommended to me. I came with clear expectations and even prepared three reference photos, but the stylist only looked at one briefly and did not pay proper attention to the style I asked for. During the haircut, I could already see it was going wrong. I hoped it could be fixed by adjusting the details, but the more the stylist tried to fix it, the shorter and worse it became. I lost all motivation and felt unable to even look in the mirror or turn on my phone camera. The entire process took more than an hour, and as a result I arrived over twenty minutes late for my class. My teacher told me not to attend anymore because I was already too late. After that, I also missed the bus home. I felt completely hopeless and ended up sitting on the grass by the road until I eventually took an Uber home. This experience has made me afraid to visit any salon or barbershop in New Zealand again. From now on, I feel I can only ask for very minor trims. I am requesting assistance because the service quality did not match what was promised, and the salon has not offered a refund or a fix.

   I had a hair appointment recently as I was looking for somewhere new. I had heard good things about Kitzo so wanted to give it a try, and I am so glad I did. I had a free consultation a week or so before my appointment which was super helpful. I met with Georgina the next week who was super friendly and easy to get along with. She asked me lots of questions which I loved and had a really keen eye for detail. Although the appointment was long it was so worth it. I have never left a salon feeling so happy with my hair and feeling really pretty. I will absolutely be going back. Not to mention all the staff were super friendly and easy to get along with. Highly recommend Georgina :)
