    Smith and Smith technician broke the plastic skuttle at the bottom of the windscreen and didn’t fess up until I told them. To be fair they replaced this when I reported it. However I have now discovered they have also ripped the plugs off the mounts in behind the reversing mirror. It was discovered by a Novus technician who said they must have just ripped them off and broke them without using the proper technique. I strongly advise to take your vehicle to another branch or windscreen repairer. The workmanship is extremely poor and they clearly try to hide their mistakes and care little for their customers valuable property.

    UPDATE I've since discovered that they also charged me for 2 new wiper blades when they were told the current ones were only 6 weeks old!! This has been reported to the insurance company as a fraudulent claim. Hugely disappointed in this branch after many great experiences at other branches. They broke the rain sensor clip which I understand happens but the poor service afterwards has been disappointing. After originally being told it'll be fixed within 2 to 3 days I've spent 2 weeks chasing them for an answer about when the new part will arrive. The answer keeps changing and still no new part. You can't even speak to the branch directly and I live too far away to pop in for a chat. Super annoying.

    Extremely poor service! Communication absolutely appalling! I went to two appointments they booked, each time they said my window was there ready to fit. Upon arrival they looked at me in surprise; what was I there for? The 3rd time I told them to tell where the screen was in Christchurch and I'd go to wherever it was. Was constantly stalled! Finally located the window and got it fitted, but the company is the most unprofessional ever! I'd definitely not recommend them. The staff at the shop are nice but all phone calls go through an Auckland office who have no connection with reality! Sent me texts to say it was ready the first time. A lady rang me the second time. Upon arrival the staff had no knowledge of what was going on. Don't use Smith and Smith. They'll just mess you about!
