Pop by this lovely cafe near our hotel. Coffee was done perfectly well. Look at that art and microform. And it tasted fabulous too. Banana bread was soft in the middle and crusty on the sides. Pairing with butter give it a great bite to it. Bacon pesto bagel was too salty for our tastebuds. But texture wise, it was good. Soft and chewy with a slight toast on the bagel. Mushroom bacon crepe was filled to the brim with fillings. It gets slightly cloyed after a while but great otherwise.

If you are staying near Kilmore street or Durham street and looking for delicious coffee and breakfast, must visit this place. Staff is super friendly and ambience is really good.

I’m sorry but we really didnt enjoy this place. We went in because of the great review but was left rather disappointed. First, the coffee was good but the presentation was a mess (might have been a practice round of a new barista), the posched eggs in the eggs bene/eggs royale dishes were all hard boiled and we wish there was some veggies on the side. The eggs bene with bacon, the bacon was a bit tough. However, the spinach smoothie was good and filling.

Total gem of a cafe. Amazing coffee super friendly staff. Food fabulous. Location awesome. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a top notch coffee. Perfect every time. As a fussy coffee drinker - rest assured this place is one of the best.

Came here this morning for the first time with 2 friends. Straight away we were greeted so warmly by the team. What a beautiful place it must be to work at. The granola was delicious and my friend loved the smashed avo. Coffee was also on point. The slices in the cabinet looked so delicious but unfortunately I restrained! Staff were so friendly . I hope you all get the recognition you deserve if you were working today. Thanks! :)

I feel like the reviews of this place speak for itself, but I’ll add my 2 cents. Been to this cafe a few times when I’m working in Chch, now I book the hotel next door just for this cafe. Staff are lovely and welcoming, food is bloody delicious. You get enough avo as a side to take home and feed a family.
