   The first sales woman I encountered kept chatting to her mate, and ignored that I was waiting to be served. After about a minute she said, in an impromptu manner, 'I'll be with you in a few minutes'. The staff member proceeded to chat with her mate, apparently somewhat annoyed that I continued to wait to be served. The 2nd staff member I encountered was helpful and pleasant in her manner. And everyone laughed when I stated that, yes I would like some help from someone who wasn't there just to chat... New Zealand definitely has a culture of apathethy when it comes to service.

   Fabulous service. I ordered lots of material, remnants and samples and got an email saying it would take a few days to get it all together. Someone got it together by the following day and my parcel arrived today. Absolutely delighted. Best service ever!!!

   We always have a wander here and come other times with very specific needs. Will come back soon and post the ball dress my daughter is making using 12m of satin from here. Saturday shopping is great because the street is not lined with parked cars. It seems quieter.

   I shop online from this business as I'm situated outside of Hamilton. Deliveries have always been prompt and woven cotton of good quality. A good place to go and buy Kiwiana fabric if Spotlight doesn't have it on special.
