Thanks to them I was able to pack that night before I headed to a work conference in Australia for 3 days, then straight onto Bali after that!    I had a pair of old, but relatively unworn Raichle (now Mammut) hiking boots. The midsole had almost completely dissolved and the Vibram outer sole was falling off from the rest of the boot. The uppers were still in great condition though. Shane (or rather John) did a fantastic job of replacing the entire bottom of the boot. They look like new, albeit not in the same style as the original. Very happy with them and looking forward to giving them a good workout. Another plus is that a perfectly serviceable pair of boots were kept out of landfill.
