   We enjoy this Burger Fuel as the food is always done well, and servers are always kind, however, we notice every time we come in to order that there is a precedent for online orders as they are able to select a time for pickup, even if you had ordered before they even placed their order. I feel orders should be completed based on the order they came in, not on who selects what time as we aren't given that option when ordering in store. On a Wednesday night we waited 35-40mins for our order with a number of online orders picking up before us, with one person even saying they only ordered 25 mins ago. Would love to see in store customers become a priority or served fairly :).

   I had a great experience at BurgerFuel Rototuna. The store was clean, welcoming and had a good vibe as soon as I walked in. My food came out fresh, hot and exactly how I ordered it which really shows the quality compared to other places. A special shout-out to Eva who served me, she was super friendly, made good conversation and checked in on us throughout our meal to make sure everything was going well. She had such a positive attitude and really made us feel looked after. Service like that makes a big difference and definitely makes me want to come back again. Would definitely recommend this BurgerFuel to anyone in the area, especially if you’re lucky enough to be served by Eva!

   Not much to say about this place. Service is shocking, food is, well, well below average. Do yourself a favour and check out Texas Petes In flagstaff, they do a far better job at a great burger! Person that took the order did not place the order correctly. When that was cleared up, we waited, and waited, and waited…. One after the other people left, so we went to confirm that our order is in progress and that it was to take out. They comfirmed, but still nothing. After close to an hour, we asked again, and was told they ‘lost our docket’ and finaly got our food. We thought that was the end of it, not the case. Patty was cooked into oblivion, dry and just not enjoyable. Then we found hair in one of the burgers, and that put everyone off. Ended up just ditching the meal…. I miss the ‘back-in-the-day’ burger fuel. This is so far from that and is enough to put anyone off from a good old ‘burger joint’.

I’ve always believed that a great meal is about more than just what’s on the plate (or in this case, the bun). It’s about the experience — the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and most importantly, the people who make you feel welcome. Our recent visit to BurgerFuel reminded me exactly why it’s a firm favourite for my whole family. Not only was the food incredible, but the service we received – especially from one amazing staff member named Zane – was truly above and beyond. In fact, it was so good that I felt it absolutely deserved a proper shoutout. Let’s start with the food — because, of course, that’s what brings everyone through the doors. BurgerFuel consistently delivers burgers that don’t just satisfy — they impress. The range of options is phenomenal. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic like the American Muscle, something plant-based like the V8 Vegan, or feeling adventurous with flavours like Bastard, there’s always something to suit every craving. The ingredients are always fresh, the buns are soft but hold everything together (a burger-lover’s dream), and the portion sizes are generous without being over the top. It’s clear that real thought and passion go into crafting each item on the menu. We’ve been to a number of BurgerFuel locations, and every time we leave happy. But this visit stood out, and it had everything to do with the exceptional service we received. From the moment we walked in, we felt the atmosphere was friendly, laid-back, and inviting — just what you want from a place like this. But the person who truly elevated the experience for us was Zane. Zane wasn’t just good at his job — he was outstanding. From the first interaction, he was friendly, upbeat, and full of positive energy. He greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel like we were more than just customers — we were guests. He had this awesome way of balancing being efficient and professional while also being approachable, easy to talk to, and genuinely kind. He even cracked a couple of jokes with us that had everyone laughing — not over-the-top, just natural and light-hearted. It really made us feel comfortable and at home. But what stood out most about Zane was the way he went the extra mile. He checked in with us after we placed our order to make sure we had everything we needed, offered helpful recommendations when we were indecisive, and even made sure any custom requests (like extra sauce, or no pickles for the picky eater in our group!) were spot-on. It’s the little things like that — the attention to detail, the thoughtfulness — that make a massive difference in the overall experience.

   Dinner on Saturday night after rugby, busy store with an active atmosphere. Service at the counter was excellent, a smiling face is the best way to be greeted, well done. Food was excellent, the new Wild Heart burger was worth every cent and for a great cause. Keep it up Burger Fuel, highly recommended

   Amazing service, loved the atmosphere and the lush plants they have in the dining room! The lovely person who took my order was very nice and happy to cater to my dietary requirements. Food was so flavourful and incredibly good, loved their bacon onion rings.

   Great store, been in many times over the past couple of years and staff are always lovely, meals always turn out great, and love the environmentally friendly packaging they use (we shred it all up for in our compost!) We’re vegetarian so I can only vouch for those burgers but they are all amazing. Gluten free options available too and you can even go in to buy their gf buns as is for use at home which comes in handy a lot!
