$9.90 for this piece of fish!!! Dry small and old. Spoke to owner about it and there only response was we weigh our fish, you won't have any customers if you treat them like this!! Do better.
Chinese takeaway doing a roaring trade in fresh fish and chips. Friendly and fast service, good prices for decent portions of snapper freshly battered and deep-fried in high quality oil for you. There's generous sized pots of condiments available and a good selection of Chinese dishes cooked to order. Highly recommended.
Stayed at the holiday park across the road. The location is very convenient, best to order by phone & pick up, it does get pretty busy. Fish & chips was good & Chinese takeout meal was nice. No complaints, I would happily order again and prices were pretty decent.
Ok, itβs just a Chinese takeaway chip shop but it does what it does very well. Iβve enjoyed their fish and chips twice this week and thatβs says something. Not disappointed the second time either! The snapper was fresh and the chips were lovely, fluffy and crispy on the outside, without any oil or grease residue. Non oily fish and chips is not often found so well done to these guys. It would be great if you offered additional items like pickled onions, bread and butter to make a chip sandwich, mushy peas, malt vinegar. Then you would truly be a star. Just walk across the road to the Motiti Reserve find a table and watch the ocean. The perfect way to enjoy fresh fish & chips.
Chips were a little cold but fish was very nice. Not too greasy
Have fish and chips here all the time and love it⦠tried the Chinese food and did not love it mediocre at best. Will stick with the fish and chips and try elsewhere for the Chinese food!
By far our favourite takeaway place to regular. We go there regularly and thereβs always great serving sizes the biggest scoop around, Fed our family of 5 for less than $30. And amazing customer service always see the staff smiling.
Pretty decent tucker. This is 1 and a half scoops of chips, hoki and hot dog (requested no sauce) Been going for years and always been good. Had 2 donuts as well came to $15.10
