We had the Hawaiian chicken burger and Downlow Dog with chips and drink. Everything was fresh and well cooked, fed 2 adults for just over $20 each. Thanks we'll be back
I recently tried The Hangry Chicken at Downlow Burgers—what a delight! The buttermilk fried chicken was incredibly juicy, perfectly crispy on the outside. The taste was spot on: smoky BBQ and garlic aioli added just the right kick, while the cheese and hash brown gave it a satisfying richness. What really stood out was the customer service—the staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience relaxed and welcoming. My order arrived fresh and hot, and everything was crafted with care. All in all, a delicious burger and a great outing. Will absolutely be back.
If I didn’t have to put a star I wouldn’t had. Terrible service and food was horrible, they had given a broken buzzer which didn’t go off which meant our food was sitting and was cold. The lettuce was not fresh at all soggy mess I say
Not sure why the negative reviews. These burgers are a perfect size, the sides are decent and the sauces are insane. We got the OG smash triple burger, a triple Chicken, fish bites and fried chicken. We also got the downlow hot dog. The burgers were insanely amazing, the rocket sauce is delish and the truffle mayo is decadent! Only reason it isn't 5 star is the Hot Dog was not quite what we'd personally consider worth $18, but it was still delicious. (just realised that due to ordering deliver easy, the ACTUAL price is likely much lower in store) I would highly recommend giving this place a go, they are very tasty, taste fresh and the food is cooked perfectly.
Food was fantastic. I got a double cheeseburger and partner got vegetarian, both were great with no issues. Fries were really good too, as were the interesting dipping sauces. Only downside is they're wicked busy which means no communication, but it's cool as they have a self serve kiosk.
Ordered a chicken burger for $15. It was tiny! Probaly the size of a McDs cheese burger with a bit more fillings.Definitely freshly made but it was pretty average. Can't comment much on the service, since you order directly from the touchscreen and grab one of the vibrating alert device (to let you know the food is ready). Zero interaction with people. Atmosphere is pretty much what you expected from a food court in the mall. Don't think I will go back there any time soon.
The wait was over half an hour in which there didn't seem to be many others in front of me. The burger was fine, the patty was dry and had cold onions and was a weird experience to eat. It was fine, but with so many takeaway options and burger places things like super long waits really impact the overall experience and this place just didn't stack up. If it only took 5-10 minutes then the place would be perfectly fine but with such long waits the quality was lacking. The staff didn't seem to know how to move fast or get any sort of flow to accommodate the amount of people. It's unfortunate because if it was faster then the place would be a welcome change from McDonald's, KFC etc...
2nd time visiting this place - first time for takeout. My order consisting of a smash burger combo and hotdog took 30mins to make and the chips were cold and soggy. When I arrived home I took a bite of the burger and noticed it was pink, I picked the outside of the patty off and it was undercooked all throughout. Now it was unfortunate that I took this order to carry out and didn’t ask for a receipt. After this meal I will never eat here again - a waste of money and time.
Yet another burger place. You have to do things really well to stand out. The veggie burger was great, but was slightly small. The pickles and onions were a nice touch. But the coleslaw was expensive and bland.
Do NOT pay for the vegie burger. First of all, it is vegan, when I asked for dary cheese it through them completely. They took 21 minutes to make it and had no cheese at all. Whe I asked again, they took it and remade it with vagan cheese. Had to wait again, meanwhile my partner ate his food and I had to eat alone. Lame. My friends, vegetarians are NOT vegans. We choose to eat dary. The patty was so over cooked in both burgers. I had 1 piece of lettus and a ton of mustard. I can not believe I paid 14 dollars for this.
