Lucky Chinese Takeaways favours a burger‑led mix with clear flavours. Ribs and steaks arrive seasoned and tender. A sensible spend for the spread. Takeaway travels well and holds its crunch. Portions are generous yet well judged.
Put the takeaway in a brown paper bag so you couldnt hold the takeaway, spilled in the car. Nothing special food wise. Piping hot, as cooked far to hot on the gas. Wont go again.
This place is called Hiway Takaways: in close to many things in Cambridge. My friend wanted F/chips...&10 each person what it's was a very popular, tastes were appreciated.
Food price is getting more expensive at Lucky Takeaways here, each meal costs around $16.80 to $21.80 now! Chips meal we feel less amounts by months, but the price is still increasing up! The Chinese Banquets (2-3 people+) meal increases $10+ and the Specials (meals) increase around $3 to $5 compared to few months ago in last year! The food taste is over average, hopefully the price won’t increase again in near future, otherwise hard to afford it! We were regular customers when food prices here were affordable.
Really enjoyed my picnic in the park with these takeaways. We got beef fried noodles, kung pao chicken, and chicken dumplings. The kung pao was good, but the beef and dumplings were especially tasty. Right amount of seasoning and oil, right amount of food for the price, overall very happy customers. I ordered in person and it took slightly longer than expected, but the high quality more then made up for it. Definitely will be coming back. There menu is pretty big, so plenty of options to choose from.
I ordered a steak burger and the black bean and beef noodles. It was super delicious! Although there isn't a pic of the burger, it was well presented and tasty. My only suggestion would be a little less tomato sauce. The noodles had a good amount of veggies and beef and the portion size was really good. Definitely recommend
Bit disappointed, thought with such a good star rating that my family would be in for a real treat. Waited 40 mins, that was fine figured it must be worth it. But when we got home our scoop of chips was barely a handful, they were nice enough but if i had known how stingy the scoop was i would have orderd more. Fish was average, orderd fresh fish but definitely was not fresh. Wont be going back again!
