   Love walking the dog down by the river here. Just a meander beside farmland. Pretty level grass, can get muddy after rain. Can be too busy on weekends so we go early morning or evening. Dogs can run into the river for swims. My kids often dive in too or swing off the rope swings.

   Great place to walk a dog, especiallyif they love water. There are a few 'pot holes' hidden by the grass if you go to the left so just watch where you walk.

   One of my favorite places to visit, I love the walk along the wairoa river. Great to see native trees getting planted along the riverside. I wish the council would add a toilet block! As its a long way to go to find the nearest public toilet and have had to cut my time short being in this beautiful space due to myself or my daughter needing a toilet to use. Also a great dog friendly place to walk your dog.
