On the plate at Marigold Cafe, the idea is coffeeβandβcabinet and well judged. Glutenβfree needs are handled with care. Value feels fair for the quality. Eggs land on point and toast keeps its crunch. Portions are generous yet well judged.
Lovely staff, delicious food. The BEST iced chocolate i have ever tasted!!! We went super early but maybe some light music would have been perfect.
We ordered the Eggs Benedict with salmon and the Creamy Mushrooms. Both very generous portions. Perfectly cooked. Yum! Thank you. Fyi they also offer a Lambs Fry and Savoury Mince on Toast for you old school peeps.
The Marigold is now open Friday and Saturday for meals and pizza. Delicious pizza and as usual the service is fantastic. The menu is going to extended to include lamb shanks, beef cheeks, chowder etc. Nisha is away for 2 months. Have a great time with your family. Look forward to your return. Second time here,we had a chicken burger and the lambs Fry and bacon,the burger was very tasty and well portioned. The lambs fry was full of flavour and very creamy,a very good portion as well. The coffee was a delight as well. Thank you so much Marigold team for a great experience.

This place has gone to the dogs. Used to be my favourite cafe in The Puke but the new owners are clearly only interested in cutting costs and making profit. You can get better food at a petrol station
Had a great ice coffee here. The salads are good too. really nice food all around at reasonable prices. Edit: went again on Saturday early afternoon. Got an amazing salad wrap for $8 and it was huge and delicious! I also ordered the hash stack which is pictured and was very happy with it. Two kinds of mushrooms! Win! Excellent service and great coffee. If you sit in the window seats with the couches, watch your head when you leave! The roof is low! hahah

They have one if the best eggs bene! Lovely service every time! Always busy but has good consistent service! The meat pies are delicious and the desserts are lovely! Good range of sweet treats with gf options available.
We stopped here on our way through Te Puke for morning tea. Ordered a 4 cheese scone and a cheese and spinach scone. Both scones were delicious and large and came with 2 butter satches each. That in itself is rare as most cafes serve with only one. My mocchanio was piping hot, and the ice coffee came in a large glass and was thick and full of coffee flavor. For $22, you can't go wrong. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and good portion size. Service was friendly and quick. The cafe itself is large with tables and chairs outside too and is right in the centre of the township.
