Generous sizes, the food tastes as good as it's expected from McDonald's, and more importantly the night service actually sells shakes
Really disappointed. Waited 22 minutes for a happy meal (we didnt order anything else). Not even as much as a n apology from the staff for the long wait. Opened the box.....chips not even in a packet!!
THE CLEANLIEST MCDONALD’S IN NEW ZEALAND My husband and I enjoyed our lovely breakfast at McDonald’s Franklin, Hamilton today, 10/7/2025. Our observations are as follows: GOOD POINTS: 1. Superb cleaning environment A very diligent cleaning lady is very good at cleaning the restaurant so perfectly. From entrance to toilets, the floor and everywhere is spotlessly clean. 2. Excellent service A lovely lady Pat who is very approachable m, friendly and patient when taking my order. 3. Great team led by fantastic manager A lovely lady manager Aman is very courteous, friendly and helpful. Both my husband and I enjoyed our friendly chat with her before we left the restaurant. 4. Play your own song This branch is the first branch we have chosen our own favourite songs. 5. Spacious and well decorated This is the most spacious and well decorated branch in New Zealand. BAD POINTS: NONE ADVICE: Must visit there if you happen to drive past Hamilton
Worst service. No one smiles. They all looked like they hate their job. Rotten lettuce, cold fries. The fries looked and tasted like they had been sitting awhile. Whats the point in having options if they ain't available (frozen drinks). Disappointed to say the least. It use to be they best place in town.
I give them 0 for cleanliness. I went late at night and the floors were greasy with food smeared over them, men's toilet disgusting and no toilet paper. Went past the next day at 10am and everything was exactly the same. Disgusting! No excuses for this, so I notified the authorities. Hopefully something is done so people don't get sick from eating here. That's my only regret, eating here
Friendliest staff, went over and beyond with helping me and my 2 little ones. Indoor playground suitable for confident climbers, not so much for my 1 year old. It's really crowded when there's 5 or more children in the play area - space is limited. Food, as expected.
Visited the store to be ignored by staff. Not busy I think I must have been invisible. The parking area was a mess as well. Found another cafe who greeted me and served me. Not good enough McDonalds.
Very bad food quality!! Halfway through eating the patty is burnt, and bun was very soggy. My Mc chicken was close to burnt. Strawberry shake was horrible they gave one shake very, very sweet, even my toddler who loves sugar dont want it cause its too sweet. No napkins , No salt on chips.
