Another poor experience. Quarter pounder patty broken in pieces. Drive thru asian manager - another experience of bad attitude and service. It’s not all about KPI’s.
Wednesday 3 Dec at around 3:30pm, Rolleston McDonalds’ drive-thru, the older lady with the glasses, she fails to meet the basic standards expected of anyone in customer service. It’s shocking that someone so unprofessional is allowed to serve customers. When I arrived at the speaker, the ordering screen was blank and I received no response, even after saying “hello” several times to check whether the system was working. However, when I reached the next window, the staff member, an older lady wearing glasses, spoke to me in an unnecessarily rude and condescending manner. She said, “You don’t have to say hello 10 times, I heard you the first time.” I was stunned. I explained that I had not heard anything from her, and she replied that she had been speaking to another customer. If she had heard me the first time, it would have been far more appropriate and professional to say, “I’ll be with you shortly,” as other staff members have done in the past and I had no problem waiting. Instead, she chose to ignore me at the speaker and then talk down to me like I’d done something wrong. I’m beyond disgusted with the lack of courtesy, and behaviour that showed no regard for basic customer service. This experience was unacceptable and has left a very negative impression. I expect this matter to be addressed, as no customer should be spoken to in such a manner by any member of staff.
Went through drive-thru before work for a coffee, service was majoritively good throughout, wasnt impressed with an uber driver pushing in the queue but thats little fault with the restaurant itself. Coffee was amazing though, perfectly made!
One of the best in South Island but they have a habit of making people park up when there only 2 spaces it's quite hard
This is the portion of medium chips I got when ordering from Uber Eats. It really doesn't seem right. They were also very soggy. The delivery time was very fast. I am confused about why it happened. The wedges we got from elsewhere were fabulous.
Brought a fillet-o-fish burger comes out only half size of cheese. One of the female staff said it’s their policy to serve half cheese for the burger. WHAT A JOKE! Had to call their manager to show the “policy”. (Got a proper burger at the end. ) Seriously, Maccas Rolleston do your job properly and don’t fool your customers!!!!!!
We visited this restaurant around 21:30pm on Wednesday night in July 2023 , not very crowded inside this restaurant , but the crews were very busy for drive through . Quality of foods and drinks were acceptable . No other alterative to choose at this area after 21:00pm . No way
Usually we are satisfied with the experience here however last nights meal was very disappointing. Part of the order was two Strawberry thickshakes. One had barely any flavour at all and those straws might be ok for soft drinks but it is a real workout trying to drink a thick shake out of them. The wrap I ordered was stuck to the wrapping and had an odd texture. Quality control is seriously lacking!
A bit small interiorly for an area that's getting bigger and busier. Definitely try avoid rush hour if you want to eat in and there is more then 2 of you. Drive through is great, very efficient .
