So hot in the outpatient department and it's only December...need some air conditioning...
Really unfriendly staff. The Tokoroa pharmacy had given me the wrong medication and they were so unkind to me. Like it was my fault. I was very loopy and they made me feel awful. Also, the ladies at the front desk were swearing which I thought was extremely unprofessional.
My mother was turned down because βshe just had a headacheβ nothing was even recorded no precautionary actions whatsoever, later had to be sent to Waikato with a recorded 220/100 blood pressure because no action was taken almost dying, multiple misdiagnosis for myself, horrible staff a lot of the time, at this point itβs more reliable to take the hour trip to Rotorua or Waikato
Went to the hospital last night after walking the Tongariro crossing, was in so much pain in the knees. The nurse that took my initial consultation was so lovely, the doctor was very informative and kind. Very impressed with how caring and attentive they were.

The staff at Tokoroa hospital are absolutely lovely. They have been so , honest and open minded, all at the right times offering amazing support..,
Very lovely staff and doctors went in sat 20.09.22at 7.30am and was seen fast and they were helpful as i was in alot of pain and transfered me to Hamilton Waikato thank you for everything
