Refused to serve my family , very bad service came from auckland looking to eat something nice arrived at 6:20 and closes at 9:30. We asked him twice if we can order to eat out and rudely refused.
If your closed and not accepting uber orders don’t leave your store on opened. Wasted my time and took my money and got no food.
Not the best butter chicken I have brought. I used to come to Curry Mehak alot back in the day with the previous owner but then got told "he went on holiday" he never has returned. Last time I came here was about a year half ago and got served by a young girl who definitely looked too young to even be working. Feeling uncomfortable i decided to part ways with Curry Mehak. Tonight I decided to try it again I came back to be still served by the same young teen girl (a bit older now) but still makes me uncomfortable seeing her working at such a young age. But this isn't the point of my review. The butter chicken was very dry, but had a generous amount of chicken. The sauce was very sweet, almost too sweet. The rice was quite watery as well. The Naan was quite plain but was nice enough to make this review 3 stars. Good value for money but would advise the chicken to be not so dry next time. Thank you
This was my second purchase from this shop, the first time the food was excellent, this time not so. I bought 2 curries and the gravy in both was very runny and 2 cheese naan and they were very mean on the cheese. I was disappointed with the meals I bought.
Had the chicken Kadai and garlic naan, absolutely perfect. The best Indian I have had in YEARS.
Absolutely delicious! Currys were 10/10 Rice was 7/10 and the sides were fab! Service was fast and friendly
We got two butter chicken medium, two garlic and cheese naan. They were absolutely delicious and we would definitely go back again next time we are in Rotorua. Easy to order online and go and pick up. I will say that medium didn't have much spice so next time we will try the medium hot option. I'm use to only 3 spice options, mild, medium and hot but this place had more spice options. Overall though, quality food and I recommend others give it a try.
We went and tried the beef and chicken biryanis a couple of weeks before. The food was amazing - one of the best biriyanis I ever had. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this place for your takeaway
