We ordered quite late in the day at the food court and it was very good. We had the butter chicken and naan special with a cold drink and rice for $17.99. The naan was huge and very good. It was quite a filling meal, enough for two people. If you like Indian food, and are in the area, then this is the place to visit.

I ordered Mutter Paneer and Samosas . Honestly , the best I have ever had. Service was amazing , atmosphere lovely. Cool beats playing in the background. Also a tea Masala .... amazing . Thankyou Ajay and the team im in heaven right now !

Ordered the chicken madras and it was so sweet I couldn't eat it. Also the chicken was not very flavorful. This is not how curry should be. It had potential to be really nice but they need to stop adding sugar.

Ordered Malabar prawn curry and Madras Chicken Curry and asked for medium spicy. But when we tasted it was completely sweet and both the curry gravy was the same. When we called the restaurant and asked about it, the answer was “this is not India, this is New Zealand and here everyone likes sweet. And also mentioned that both the curry recipes are same. Why then the tagline “Authentic Indian Food” “Malabar Prawn Curry” “Madras Chicken Curry” - misguiding the customers.

Used to be very good. Butter chicken taste very different now and yeah they kids are lovely but they shouldn’t make their kitchen the living area where they play and hang around.

Our first time trying this takeout and we were very disappointed, we got the prawn malabari, pan fried prawns and they were both horrible, the prawns were undercooked and had no flavor and the malabari was disgusting it didn't even get eaten it went in the rubbish, the only plus was the butter chicken was edible. The size of your containers are the smallest I have seen yet. Ripped off Won't be buying from Indian Star Express ever again.
