Weβve had a worst experience of the food quality & service here in this restaurant. We ordered 1x Thali & 1x Masala Dosa. The food tasted awful. The photo attached of dosa explains it all. When I went to the counter and asked, the staff said they made dosa first and let it sit until the Sambar was ready? And I was like whaat? Why would you chef even made dosa first and let it go cold and dry? They had nothing to say and no courtesy of offering a new one instead? I ended up wasting all the food and my money.. I will never recommend this place to anybody in rotorua.

Very happy to find a vegetarian Indian restaurant in Rotorua. I was craving for dahi puri and masala dosa, and my partner wanted thali. Portions are good.
It was pretty busy when we came in for dinner, a few tables were not cleaned/ready yet (but I take it as a good sign that a lot of people come in to dine). Service was quick and staff are friendly.

Really lovely Indian vegetarian place to go to in Rotorua. I came from Auckland for a holiday and really enjoyed what they had to offer. The food was extremely delicious and the service was pretty quick. We have been here twice in 2 days now.

We visited BailwalG restaurant in Rotorua for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the huge menu items available.
All vegetarian menu was a USP for us.
The food ordering was nice and easy, along with the standard options of levels of spice.
The service was quick and efficient.
The food was served after a nominal waiting time.
It was very well prepared and tasty.
All the items we ordered had a specific taste instead of a common taste which some Indian restaurants serve in NZ.
The staff was nice and helpful.
Kids also enjoyed their meals here and we ended up going there the next day too for dinner.
The sweets they sell were fresh and nicely prepared too.
Very highly recommended for a tasty Indian meal.

The food was just similar you get in India and taste was authentic. Service was quick as well, must recommend if you are looking to try Indian cuisine , do visit this restaurant in Rotorua, they have never ending options and its so hard to decide what to order and as usual we over ordered but definitely worth it.
