   Ordered 2x $17 Katsu chicken bowl and the chicken was not real chicken it was processed, I couldn’t even eat it. I complained and they said that’s what we have been using for the last 10 years. A complete waste of money and left a hungry customer with no satisfactory outcome. Would not recommend!

   Our absolute favourite sushi place, we have been coming here for 8+ years. We have tried other sushi places in Rotorua and nothing beats this place. The sushi here always tastes fresh and the customer service is great. A large variety of flavours and not expensive for the quality you get. I recommend the salmon & avo, prawn tempura, and the prawn and mayo sushi! My partner loves the spicy squid, seaweed salad and the eel sushi ❤️

   So, all the ingredients tasted and felt fresh and delicious. How ever, the rice in my sushi tasted musty? Or like old? And felt real stiff. It was a very odd sushi experience for me. I love sushi, but the rice is a huge component in sushi. I'm not sure if it was a today thin or that's how their rice is as this is my first time going, but today the rice was not it. It's a real shame con's the other foods in the sushi was amazing. Aside from that, the shop looks very nice and the staff are very kind and respectful.

   Was looking for an afternoon snack and passed by. The place looks quite small and the atmosphere is not the best, but I highly recommend to just walk in and grab some sushi! Very tasty sushi for little. Recommend the fried prawn on rice.
