Best ramen I've had in NZ. Went every day we were in Rotorua for lunch. If you can get to the night market try their okonomiyaki too!
The worst Japanese restaurant in my life. The ramen I ordered was cold and I didn't want to eat it, and there was a hair in the rice that came out on a plate with one corner broken. The owner didn't even say sorry... It was an unbelievable situation. My wife and I have been to Japan many times before, and this was the worst restaurant we visited in New Zealand.
Food was amazing!! We thought we had ordered miso soups also but they gave em to us on the house anyway! 10/10
Friendly, patience, talkative and accommodating owner operator. The food are flavourful, and balanced. The cook their hot food with passion and love, presented nicely, with balanced flavours and texture. They also kind, friendly, and attentive to children. Although they don't have toilets for customer, there's a public toilets nearby.
Lovely food and staff. The place is very cozy and warm, lots of variety and the noodles are amazing. Tables could be cleaner but I understand that they could be busy sometimes. Presentation wise of the food, itβs very nice and looks like the menu pictures. I got a Tonkotsu ramen and the egg is beautifully made. My friends got miso ramen and the crispy fried chicken and they liked it as well. The spicy chilly powder they have is also so nice, a great addition to the meal.
Really inexpensive and delicious japanese meals made fast. This is a great spot for a quick lunch or to grab some food to go. Had the ramen and bento box. The ramen was surprisingly good considering that it is like a fast food place.
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Our 3 children agree they should move &Rice to Wellington.... we will definitely be coming back next time we are in Rotorua. (Or maybe we will come back to Rotorua just for the food!)
