This place does not try to be ambitious as the menu is rather small. But it does a wonderful job with the menu it has. Thw food is great. One man was running the shop when we came. But he was working real hard and putting up great dishes. Food was worth the wait and money.
Great place. I had a lovely lunch here. I had the Kascrute - a toasted wrap of Lebanese bread with meat, veg, and sauce . It was absolutely delicious and served with an excellent small salad and a mild mint sauce. The dish was well presented and tasted amazing. The lone staff member did an excellent job with the lunch time rush provided great service in a tough time. Decor was tasteful and suited the place. Great place all around.
The Berber chicken rice meal was awesome! The rice was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being overpowering. The spices were well balancedβmildly spiced but still very satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and the portion was generous. Iβd definitely order this again and recommend it to anyone looking for something flavorful but not too spicy.
We heard the place was good and the owner was kind, well spoiler: the food was delicious and the owner was amazing. No exaggeration, will be recommending people travel to NZ to eat here. Clean place, well decorated, extremely welcoming. The place is magic. We had the traditional noodles with lamb and the Berber with falafel but honestly think anything you get here would be great.
Best meat I have ever had in Rotorua! Crispy outside and tender inside. I tried the rice meal with coconut sauce(Amazigh), and a Kascrute (mixed meat and salads in a wrap), both of them super fresh and delicious. Itβs a cafe rather than a restaurant. Itβs Warm.

Get the pizza! The chicken, cream cheese chunks, and sweet chili sauce make it one of the best pizzas I have had in a while, and itβs bit enough to feed two, which makes it a great deal.
Certified Halal, Affordable, Homely and Delicious. A must visit for Muslim tourists in the area. The owner and staff were lively and very accommodating. We arrived at 7:30pm and they had sold out of most food. If that isn't a testamant to a good kebab shop, I dotn know what is. We had their Arabian Pizza, Faafel Salad and a pasta dish. The pizza was beautiful, if you like spice their house made harissa was amazing on the pizza. The falafel salad was the underdog though, the Tamarind seasoned capers were an amazing addition with roast Capsicum. The falafel were fresh and simply perfect the plating was also very well thought out The owner was very generous, upon my offering a tip, i wa stold to save up and pay for my parents pilgrimage
