Went in a few weekends ago based on local recommendations. Food was excellent but front staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. They indicated a smaller menu due to being between lunch and dinner which was fine, then spent the rest of the time we were in the restaurant talking loudly to each other across the room. There were not many customers in at that time, but we had to choose between a number of dirty tables which weren’t wiped down for us. Probably won’t come back to Rolleston to dine here again.

Great experience for the first timer, and we love the food that we ordered. Surely, will go there to try others in the menu.

Their front house definitely didn't want be there working. Grumpy face and unwillingness to assist. I'm not sure about the name of the front house, but she printed the receipt and on the slip the name is Cole. The worst thing was the restaurant was quiet, 3 or 4 tables in use only. Not come back Very long wait for the food. The venue is nice and have good space between tables.

✨ Charming Local Favorite: Great Food and Friendly Service! ✨ I've become a regular at this spot, popping in frequently for both breakfast and lunch, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places. The food is reliably good—consistently fresh, delicious, and satisfying, no matter what time of day I visit. They clearly take pride in their menu! What really sets this place apart is the excellent service. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and efficient, making every visit a pleasant experience. A small heads-up: parking can occasionally be limited, especially when they are busy, but it's usually manageable. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot that offers great value and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a dependable place for a great meal, I highly recommend checking it out!

I have been wanting to go here for sometime and was very impressed with everything. From the time we got there to the time we left the staff were fantastic. We went for breakfast and could not fault the meal at all we ordered the pork benny and everything was cooked to perfection. They even waited till we had tasted before asking if everything was OK. I definitely will be back

I recently dined at the Pedal Pusher Restaurant and I must say, the experience was fantastic. Excellent service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We had a few requests regarding changes to the menu, and they were more than happy to accommodate us without any hesitation. In top of that we had three toddlers with us. Keeping young children entertained during a meal can be quite challenging, but the Pedal Pusher Restaurant went above and beyond to make sure our little ones were comfortable and occupied. They provided coloring-in materials and even a box of toys, which kept the kids engaged and happy throughout the meal. This thoughtful gesture made dining with toddlers much more enjoyable for everyone involved.

First time visiting here. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely meal. Liked the novel touches like the wheel lights, and the unique high chairs.

Absolutely lovely staff, friendly and creative. Great cappuccino, chai latte, and cheese scones. Also recently had Their Nachos, and it's my new favorite dish! Their pie of the day dish exceeds all expectations.

Their branch ‘look’ really good, taste was ok-ish, serving size was generous and everything was well-cooked. But, somehow they missed the mark in every way. For example: the vinegar was a bit strong for their poached eggs, the baked beans could add a little extra salt, the hash browns was a bit ‘moist’. The bacons were cooked ‘perfectly’, not too dry not too oily but there is just something missing about them but I don’t what it is. Coffee was great thou, good atmosphere. Hence the 3 stars. Might revise the rating for their lunch/dinner menu in the future.
