   In the USA I had lost luggage for 6 days , due to my mental health diagnosis I don’t think like everyone else . I accidentally packed my medications cash in that luggage . Flight Centre send response was you shouldn’t have done that . Europ insurance which I paid almost 600 dollars refused any help . I went to USA for a friend of 30 years who was dying . As a result of missing / lost luggage for 6 days I had no clothes, no mental health medication , and no help at all . Both flight Centre and Europ insurance did not help . For 6 days I had little money so had to keep asking my other friend for money , whilst his partner of 30 years was passing . Due to me not having my mental wellbeing meds especially , as each day passed I was getting in to a darker place . Even feeling suicidal . U received no help from Ruth flight Centre or Europ . So therefore on Friday 27 th of July onwards I will be protesting outside Flught Centre Barrington I have a professional sign now made up and I will protest what I think is a injustice . I paid my excess and was told your covered .

   Would love to give a resoundingly positive review to this branch. I had a stunning experience booking a trip to Rarotonga, and it’s all thanks to the superstar Laura. Millis. We came with a problem, wanting an island trip but not knowing which island to pick and Laura Millis went above and beyond to provide us with all the options, talk us through numerous activities, and provide recommendations for accomodation. What a seamless experience.

My agent was Laura who provided me with amazing service and showed great expertise in the places I was wanting to go. If I have 100 more trips in my life I want 100 of those to be booked by Laura at flight centre. Anyone on the fence about this place or unsure on anything to do with their trip this is the place to be.

   I was extremely outraged by the poor customer service that was provided today. Went to house of travel first to see what they could provide and was amazed by the knowledge and care they provided us with. To see what was around we went into Flight Centre Barrington, all the staff looked up and then looked back down. After awkwardly standing there for a couple of minutes one guy said “have a seat i’m on the phone” - so we did. We waited. Waited some more. After one group was finished and the lady cleaned up, no one had even acknowledged our presence. We had to just walk out in the end. Working in a customer service environment I know how to treat your clients and customers and this just was not it. For a company that “strives” off customer service, this was heavily disappointing. Will not be using these guys or their other branches and would HIGHLY recommend going to House of Travel which is just two doors down. I hope this goes further because these are the people that work with tourists and I’d be ashamed to see this happen to them. This is not the Kiwi way.
