   This store looks a bit dated, it’s dark, dingy and looks like it’s about to fall down. Despite this, the prices are good and the service is good too. This shop could possibly feature in this area’s version of the Texas chainsaw massacre if any one of the victims was in need of a watermelon refill for their vape. I purchased a can of coke and some RAW rolling papers.

   Went there before 6.30pm tonight with family, from the other side of the town, wanted to try some fresh fruit ice cream.One rude Lady at the counter said that they can't serve as they are closing at 7pm!!!. Seriously, you stop serving more than 30 minutes before you close!!!! Not often I get to see this type of horrendous customer service. This was disappointing & disgraceful. We'll never ever be back & will tell others too for sure.

   Whenever we go over the Kaimai hill, we always call in to Country fare, pick up fresh milk but mainly for their ice creams...delicious a selection of berries you can have with whipped ice cream or yogurt..a must.. also many other grocery items available...

   Omg the fish and chips here are the best in town. Easily feed myself and my toddler (and leftovers for the dog) with 1 scoop of chips alone. We stop regularly to get a scoop of chips and coffee. Love it.
