At Sabry Souvlaki, the menu stays classic fishβandβchips with tidy execution. Ribs and steaks arrive seasoned and tender. A sensible spend for the spread. Wraps hold together with fresh salads and steady sauces. Fillets arrive fresh and the fry keeps clean.
Visited about 10pm Friday night. The staff member was helpful and made a very good kebab wrap. Not only was it tasty but was easy to eat with out being messy when I got to the last bite. Also very reasonably priced..
THE BEST SOUVLAKI IS SABRYβs SOUVLAKI! His sauces are amazingly delicious! I got the chicken souvlaki medium sized. Very delicious. Pita bread was so soft and fluffy and flavorful. Meats were well marinated. I met them at the Sunday Market. Then had to find their store cause I was missing their food! A Must go!
Great food! Got the mixed meat on rice. Good portions and fresh ingredients. Highly recommended for a value meal!
It's Friday night and to my delight, I found out Sabry's now had a store open on High Street. I headed out to grab some dinner for my daughter and me - and we were not disappointed. We ordered the meat on chips - chicken with sweet chilli sauce, garlic mayo, and hummus - along with a salad bowl packed full of fresh, flavorful ingredients, topped with hummus, tzatziki and what I believe was a pomegranate sauce. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The Mediterranean-inspired flavors/ingredients on the menu are a real highlight for me. The service was warm and friendly, the prices reasonable, and the portions are generous. My daughter and I savoured every bite. Both the salad bowl and meat on chip were a hit. Highly recommend! We'll definitely be returning βΊοΈ
My absolute favourite restaurant. Iβve tried many other food places but nothing compares to Sabryβs. Their meat on chips is the best. I order chicken meat on chips with sweet chilli, tzatziki sauce, and garlic mayo. Itβs honestly the best and nothing else compares.
Falafel was just amazing. Baklava was so delicious. Nice place to dine in.
So tasty. Had a chicken and lamb Souvlaki. One of the tastiest things I've eaten in NZ. So good, in fact that I went back the next 2 days for lunch while I was in CHCH. Highly recommended, Absolutely delicious food.
Delicious Middle Eastern eats!! Ordered the vegetable salad with chicken and lamb. Perfectly seasoned meat, topped off with hummus and tzatziki yogurt. Very affordable too. They were able to accommodate us since all the other restaurants near our hotel were already closed, great customer service! Will definitely come back when Iβm in the Christchurch area!!
