Lovely clean room with tiny private balcony and aircon. Very clean. Mini kitchinette with crockery, microwave, sink and fridge. Perfect for a multi day stay and right in the centre of a shopping/restaurant area. And with good connections. Nothing to write home about from the outside but does the job.

I stayed at the Alpine Hotel for 5 nights during a work conference and it was a great stay. Deceiving when you first arrive, but the rooms are all you need and kept beautifully clean. The service is stunning and the team will do anything to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable - even when I was forgetful and needed a late checkout. If you need a quiet, yet convenient place to stay - at a good price, give the Alpine Hotel a look. Thanks Team, MC

As others have said, it is a very quiet hotel...we had no street noise. We found the car parking great, with Internal access. Numerous eating places within 300m. Comforty room, that was clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom nice, shower a little lacking in pressure but ok.

4.5/5 Quiet, with nice soundproofing, new furnishings. The bathroom was clean, modern, and newly renovated. The bed was softer than Iβm used to, but still comfortable. The room itself was compact and pleasant, with a nice overall feel. It was very convenient that check-in was possible even at 1 a.m., and the location is close to the airport. Overall, I really liked it for the price and quality. The only suggestion Iβd make is to improve the cleaning a bit β there were hair on the floor, in cabinet and in the bathroom.

Lovely hotel, great service, strategic location. Came here for a work visit in Christchurch and enjoyed our stay in this premise. The room is comfortable although not too spacious. Our room has outdoor balcony, perfect for sitting under the star enjoying the fresh air. Bathroom is spacious and looks newly renovated. Clean towels and amenities are available, with shower and hot water. The bed is comfy, although I prefer the firmer one. It has microwave, water boiler and fridge in the room, complete with dinnerware, coffee plunger, toaster dan cutleries as well as cookware that can be used with microwave. Free tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, and hot chocolate are available as well. iron, ironing board and safety box is also available at my room. Parking spots are abundant and they have ones in covered, restricted access garage for the guests' cars. it helps a lot for the visitors with cars like us. The hotel is located strategically near Bush Inn comemercial centres, many Asian stores, and restaurants. Happy to be back here again

Stayed here from Monday 15th May until Thursday 16th May as part of a work schedule. Rooms quite reasonably priced. I could not fault at all the cleanliness and freshness of the rooms at all. Each day my bed was made and room tidied and cleaned. Shower and toilet were spotless. Bed linen looked and felt clean. I wouldn't have minded if they had put heat pump on in my room before arriving but that is a minor detail. My only gripe at all is they have no breakfast option. If you stay, it might pay to go to the Countdown (5 mins walk along the road) and get what you want to make breakfast back in your room. Rooms were quite from where I was with no significant traffic noise. Small patio on the room but no outlook as such to be had. For meals there is lots of options further along the street. Joe's Garage was good. The attached Horse and Jockey bar was considered for a bar meal for myself and two other colleagues but upon going in you quickly were assaulted by the smell of cigarette smoke from smokers outside and the stink wafting into the premises. This could be smelled on 3 different occasions we ventured in the door. Needless to say, we did not eat at the horse and jockey. The motel was good and I would recommend it but warn of the breakfast and food limitations.

Found by accident. Very friendly & helpful service - offered to help with luggage. Off street parking. Quiet, tidy room. Even though it's above a bar we didn't hear or see a thing from that area. Handy to food & drink outlets. Tiny little patio for a bit of fresh air.

Very weird location, stayed here for a week for work. The outside doesn't look like much and the lobby makes you think hmmm. But the rooms are tidy and modern and spacious. Very nice staff as well.
