On the plate at LJ's The Base, the idea is classic fish‑and‑chips and well judged. Coffee pours are consistent and well textured. Fillets arrive fresh and the fry keeps clean. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. A riverside backdrop rounds out the stop.
I am Asian. I tried their items first time few days ago both of fried and grilled fishes were gorgeous. I often go there for their environment and great services as well.
Just got back from Chartwell after a terrific mouth watering Snapper Meal Box, i had battered Snapper my wife had breadcrumbed, and no kidding they were delicious and plenty of it and lovely white flakes, nice chips, fresh salad and a lovely English Style Vinegar bottle with malt vinegar made my day.. Wednesday, few people. Seafood platter for two including 6 mussels, 6 prawns, two pieces of fish, aquids, fried rice and chips. Yummy and full. And friendly staffs of course.
I had the snapper meal box, with coleslaw. Beautiful fish and batter.

Ordered on Uber eats, not what it use to be. Might as well update your photos to this photo as this is what you get. No creamy garlic sauce(not even edible muscles), the calamari is fried and not grilled like it says and I had less than a handful of fried calamari. Chips were cold. Nearly $36 for this
1st review-Great place for seafood. 2nd review- best place for fish and chips and seafood. Ordered platter for 2 and it was bang on.

Every one should try here. One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been to. Very welcoming staff and food was great!!! Place is very clean and good sitting arrangements specially with the couch and chairs. Kids friendly!!
