   We have been looking and using a variety of catteries in and around Tauranga over the last couple of years, but could never find a cattery where our cat felt comfortable. This is until we found Erin at the Big Meow. It's our cat (Clawdia) home away from home. The Big Meow provides a very comfortable environment. Every time we collect our fur baby she is happy and playfull when she gets home, clear indication that her stay at The Big Meow was pleasant.

   Our cats were looked after so well at The Big Meow, They were so relaxed when we got them home, after staying at there. And they have both put on weight, which is good as they had both lost weight before we went away. This is a great cattery, Erin and her husband really care for their guests.

   Erin was lovely and communicated with us very quick and efficiently. The room Patty was allocated was lovely and Patty settled in right away. I don't think Patty was ready to leave when we picked her up as she looked like she was enjoying herself. We would definitely use the Big Meow again.

   We recently traveled abroad for 35 days, of which our little girl, Luna, stayed the duration with Erin and The Big Meow. A truly, lovely and comfortable establishment with careful care given by Erin herself. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts for taking such phenomenal care of her and putting our minds at ease while we were away. The regular emails and photos from Erin also showed a happy, content furbaby who relished her own private space. Thank you once more!

   The owner Erin is absolutely incredible! She was so accomodating from the very start, allowed me to come and view the cattery, and went absolutely above and beyond. I have placed my kitten in a few catteries around Tauranga before, and have been to view most of them. By far, The Big Meow is definitely the best!!! It's very clean, the cat enclosures are spacious and have everything your cat needs to be comfortable, they have an outdoor area that they get to go into, and you can tell each cat gets lots of love and attention. Erin sent me daily updates and photos on how my kitten was doing (knowing how anxious i was), and when we picked him up, he was super relaxed and happy. There is absolutely no doubt i will be using The Big Meow as my go to cattery from now on. I cannot thank the The Big Meow enough for taking such good care of my little boy Hunter.

   If you are looking for a place in Tauranga for your cat to be well looked after while you and the family are away. I can with confidence say that "The Big Meow" in Greerton is 110% the place you need to be sending your family cat to. Erin is beyond wonderful and is a fantastic carer. Rates are the best in town and facilities are perfect for the cats. Our family cat Thomas loves going there. I highly recommend this cattery to anyone. In the last few months he has been there half a dozen times. Thank you Erin for all you have done for us in the short amount of time. Happy new year to you and your family.
