   SmartyPants is unethical. They removed my 2 star review about B-Box lunch boxes. I have a lot of experience with these and gave a fair and honest review. SmartyPants then added four, 5 star fake or elicited reviews. Suddenly 29/30 Dec there are raving reviews in other colours too. This tells me their reviews are not to be trusted. Response to owners reply: What I did do was change a 1 star to a 2 star and suggested these lunch boxes are better suited to 5 year olds as they are stiff, difficult to open and shut due to the design. I did not target your business, I posted a fair, reasonable review based on considerable experience.

   My go-to store for kids gifts. Can order online and collect on the same day, or get delivery within a few. If I'm stuck for an idea, I know I can message the store for help and they will either make suggestions or put something together for me. Love SmartyPants

   Impeccable customer service, i stopped by mere chance as I was going somewhere else and boy i was so happy i entered the shop, i went on June 14th 2024 around 3:30pm, i was browsing for birthday gifts for my cousins children and was having difficulty deciding and the lovely staff that day assisted me like im VIP, i gave her details as age and interests of my cousins kids and she recommended quality products, and even gift wrapped them for me, i wish more places have such friendly staff cause it made my day brighter though it was cold and raining,and walked 1.5km as i dont drive, thank you for your assistance, sorry i forgot to ask your name!

   Love this place! Always there to rescue us mums when we have left birthday presents until the last minute. I can always find something for any price, for any age, for any child and quick with the helpful staff. There is nothing else like it in Christchurch. Always love supporting local too!    I have been in Smarty Pants a number of times, sometimes I'm not quite sure what gift I'm after, last time it was for my 10yo nephew who lived in Australia. After being asked a few thoughtful questions the retail assistant offered some suggestions and showed me a couple of items, it was perfect! The best service, she really took the time to help me without any of the pushiness. Really friendly and positive. The shop itself is treasure, laid out beautifully with high quality items. Back for sure, next time its lunchboxes! From past experience, I know that they will talk me through the options so I get the right one!

   After buying Xmas presses from your website last year, we made a special trip to your shop when we came down to Christchurch. Loved the play area where the kids could play while I browsed. Those toys helped us survive the giant road trip back up to the North Island! Great service, extremely helpful and patient with my indecisive children. We will be back on our next trip!
