God forbids - you donβt need to go to walk-in clinic. Wait, wait, wait and wait. After waiting for 3 hours, only seen by a nurse practitioner, not even a GP. After 2.5 hours, I was called-in a room, but only to wait again. Disgusting. Thatβs the reason, even when I am unwell, I dread to visit doctors. But to be fair, this is widespread systemic failure for NZ health systems. One thing confuses and irritates me - I see so many nurses roaming around, nurse practitioner discussing about swimming and Christmas plan - while patients are waiting. Also surprising to see so many admin people. Only shortage is the quality doctors. Good things: most of the staff, nurse, and nurse practitioner are nice and friendly. Also Dr Coral is experienced excellent GP, only you have to book her at least a month advance if youβre lucky.

I made an appointment with a nurse to have a couple of stitches βtrimmedβ as they were protruding from a scar where I recently had surgery. I was at my appointment early, and paid for my appointment. I then had to wait a further half an hour past my appointment time while the nurse was more concerned about a key that was loose on her computer keyboard! While waiting for the nurse to sort her keyboard out, I had to listen to the one of the reception staff bagging the Papamoa clinic! So unprofessional!! Then when I saw the nurse, she said she couldnβt see the stitches protruding (even with her magnifying glasses on). I need glasses and I could see and feel them without my glasses! She then went out to speak to the other nurses and came back and told me she couldnβt do it! What the hell! You are a nurse!! I left angry, rang my beautician friend and she did it in less than a minute. Seriously bad and seriously unprofessional!

I have always had lovely GP. Dr Dale is very nice but Stev Taylor not so much. Mo bedside manner. I find the nurses patient and kind.

Had Mum Wait over 3 & a half hours after being assessed by the nurse. Only to say they wouldn't even see her. Also took my friend there, who almost died after they told him he was fine and to go home. He had to get emergency helicopter to Waikato that night.

We took our boys to the walk-in clinic and were prepared to wait, understanding the usual 2β2.5 hour policy. However, we noticed several families with similar symptoms who arrived after us were seen before us. When we asked, we were told it depends on the βacute level,β which we respectβbut it would help if patients were given a clearer system (like a numbered queue) and updates on wait times, especially if someone is seen earlier for medical reasons. After nearly 3 hours, and seeing many walk-ins come and go, I approached reception. The staff seemed surprised we were still waiting and only then checked with the doctorβwho finally saw us. We felt overlooked and undervalued. This experience was disappointing, and I hope the clinic improves transparency in their process so others donβt feel the same. Walk in clinic Bayfair the Doctors.

I received fantastic and empathetic care here from the nurse Maura and doctor Debra. I came early on a Tuesday morning and was seen right away in the walk in clinic and also got my prescription immediately. Couldnβt have asked for more, thank you

Kind doctors and receptionists! Well organised staff especially today when it was so busy but they were able to take care of me as a drop-in.

Gwenda is my doctor and is absolutely fantastic! She is very open minded and has a really calming holistic approach to healthcare which is so refreshing. (And extremely hard to find). Reception is always slammed and the ladies handle it fantastically. If you struggle to get through on the phone the new The Doctors app is awesome for making appointments or viewing your details. Thanks team :)

Pretty unimpressive service. Charge $97 for a walk in service as I'm working temp in tauranga, given antibiotics which didn't make a difference at all and charged $97 to get this corrected.
